I'll be there, too. Texas had a good recruiting class, but ya never know. The last time we played the piggies in Austin, I was with my Texas friend and his Arkie wife. It wasn't a fun day.

I'm planning on getting down there. Not for sure yet.
Road trips this year include Lexington and Starkville, and possibly a bowl game.
I'm really dreading Starkville.

We already have a 2008 college football thread. I've merged them. Please keep it to one thread. Thanks.

A bowl appearance and nothing more.
Nutt is the epitome of mediaocrity.

I think it will help Ole Miss some, but Croom is still the best coach in the state. State and Ole Miss both make a bowl for the first time in a while, but aside from State maybe knocking off Bama again or something neither makes a lot of waves in the SEC this year.

Ole Miss will dread the day of getting Nutt...I know we did.
The very fact that we lost Kodi Burns and Lee Ziemba to Auburn proves everything.
Petrino is the recruitment master, however.

I am so thrilled that no one cares about Boise State anymore and they aren't on any important lists.

LOL. My money says he still doesn't get it.
SECDomination: It's the same as Georgia/Florida, there's a "home team" every year, but it's played in Dallas (and has been since the early early 1900s).

Arkansas plays Texas A&M next year at the new Cowboys stadium. I'm excited.

In his defense, I think he cut and pasted those ranking from somewhere because I swear I've read that before.

Inserting a little break in the SEC love-fest going on, a moment of celebration and anticipation for life up here in the big stadiums:
