As soon as you get some money???

From the website--
All recordings must be used for personal use or trading only. Selling or commercializing any recording is illegal and will jeopardize taping privileges for everyone. Please read our Bootleg Statement for more information

Its against DMB policy to have people SELL their taped shows. Now, I am not coming down on YOU, but on this guy if he's charging you for it--

Unless, of course you are only talking about $$ for Blanks and Postage.

Red face Umm I think I'm in trouble

The guys has a list of shows and he burns them for you. All you have to do is send him money. Before I left Baton Rouge to come to Texas, there was a record store near campus and occassionally, they would have bootleg Dave shows. One that comes to mind is Crashing the Quarter.

I honestly did not realize that I was breaking the law. Thanks so much for pointing that out to me. Otherwise, I would have kept doing it and messed things up for everybody!

Well the Warehouse's lottery is on and I put in my orders for:

4/4 Washington DC -- tour opener! Yay!
5/13 San Diego
5/15 Los Angeles
5/16 Irvine CA

I wish I could afford to go to more concerts this summer! Maybe the fall tour when they hit the southeast!

Did anyone ever answer this?

Summer So Far is the real title of the Lillywhite Sessions.

And, rumor had it Dave, Cater, Stefan, Boyd and LeRoi headed into the studio in San Francisco TODAY to begin recording the NEW album.

GOD I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE TOUR! I AM TOTALLY OBSESSING ABOUT IT!

I just got the Dream Set List compilation from one of the nancies.org folks and I've gotta say ITS AMAZING!

Thumbs up

I'm going to the May 7th concert here in Dallas. I got my tickets the day they went on sale back in Feb. I got plaza level seats which is the next section after the floor.

Don't worry, I will be on here the next day with a full report. I am so excited. We get paid the Friday before the concert. My check is going to be fat cause I worked some overtime last week. I'm going to have lots of money to spend at the concert.

NEW CD!!!!!!!!!!

I am SOOOOOOO psyched for the new cd. It's coming out in June and July and is going to have 10 tracks remastered from the Lillywhites AND 2 new tracks. Apparantly the new cuts put the original Lillywhite tunes to shame. Don't know about the rest of you who have had the opportunity to hear them (I know AmyCat and Tigergrl have), but I can't fathom those songs being BETTER. Well, that's not totally true. The last few tracks were a bit odd.

Prospective...you gotta give us scoop on how all the new songs sound at the concert. And Amy, given that you're going to umpteen shows, I expect an extremely detailed report and comparison!!!

I had to miss the concert cause the tickets went on sale at the brokest point in my life . I hear it was a great show tho. Hopefully I'll catch them next time around...

I saw that story yesterday and LOVE it!

Closest I've been to Dave is about 10 feet away at a private acoustic performance last summer in Las Vegas. So he definitely heard me when I screamed "I LOVE YOU DAVE!" lol

Thumbs up My report

The concert was awesome.

Here is the setlist:

Too Much
I Did It
Rhyme and Reason
You Never Know(new song)
The Space Between
Grey Street
What Would You Say
Where Are You Going(new song)
What You Are
Instrumental song that kind of along the lines of #34. really pretty song.
One Sweet World
Crush
Drive In Drive Out
Pig
Two Step
Sleep to Dream Her
Ants Marching
Everyday(which he did solo)
Tripping Billies

I had the best time. It should be a law that everyone see Two Step performed live at least once in their life time. And Everyday---OMG!!! This version was even better then the one I heard at Jazzfest. Just Dave singing by himself. I almost started crying It was that great.

The new songs were good. They sound like the Dave Mathews Band of old. They are the kind of songs that we have come to know, love, and expect from Dave. Whenever the new albums come out, they will definetly be songs. I will be playing over and over. Who is the producer on the new album, does anyone know?

Lightbulb Finding Lillywhite

I downloaded a couple of the songs from Lillywhite through Bearshare. I'm not a big fan of the album. Everyday wasn't too bad overall, but I really "The Space Between." (Maybe because a friend says that reminds him of our relationship.)
