This list could go on and on and on.
I'm so all about the bottled water in the purse. I got this awesome bag for Christmas (Nine West, not Kate Spade) that I always carry my water (Poland Spring anyone?) with my books, etc.
Workout gear w/ letters. It's crazy...my workout bag and shirt are Alpha Chi. I'm totally known as "that sorority girl" in the gym.
The agenda. I'm SO into mine. I carry it around w/ credit cards, phone book, etc. You never know when you're going to need it!
This is sorta kinda gross, but floss. Sometimes I don't come back to my room after I leave in the morning for 12 hours at a time, and I'm very concerned w/ dental health. Plus, mossy teeth aren't cool.
Those New Balance 803 running shoes. They're amazingly comfortable.

What about sunglasses? What are the coolest ones to wear right now (and please don't say the Charlie's Angels ones)!

1. A North Face jacket (not just the fleece, but the shell too)
2. A cute colored scarf
3. Leather Jacket
4. SILVER JEWELRY!!!
5. Black bootleg pants
6. A Kate Spade bag
7. Nokia cell phone
and the list goes on.... this is such a cute topic!

Every sorority girl must have her MAC lipglass (lipgloss). I prefer to wear the clear on my casual days and the Oh Baby shade on my dressy days.

so far, everyone is right on with all this. i don't think i could ever live without:
black stretchy boot cut pants (from bcbg or bebe)
bobbi brown makeup
BLACK kate spade (sam or clare)
thong from victoria's secret
blond highlights
frederic fekkai lipgloss
my 4 runner (silver- she's so gorgeous!)
kate spade planner and keychain/wallet
nokia cell phone (nothing older than the 6100)
my badge (CHI OMEGA of course)
a travel size of touch perfume by tocca
palm pilot
silver bean necklace from tiffany
platinum/diamond stud ER (got em for HS graduation)
--- i think that's it. sure, it sounds superficial, and there is much more to my personality than what i wear. but that is the stuff that makes my outward image/appearance.
this website is such a great idea!!

No offense to you girls on this post, but you sound like "typical" spoiled sorority girls. Don't get me wrong, its nice to have things, but c'mon, stuff from TIFFANY's? I mean, can I get my daddy to his credit card to go and shop? GAG....Sorry girls, just speaking my mind!

I love the topic and presume its tongue-in-cheek about necessitites vs. wants. Besides the typical list of "goodies", I just got a Palm Pilot. I love it! I keep track of everything on it and can edit and update reports and projects when and whereever. Its like having a laptop in my purse.

I think I'm gonna agree with ULChiOCutie
on this one. You are making us sorority girls look like we are living up to the typical sterotype. When I pledged here my friends got on my case all the time, saying that I was going to be sucked in by them, that I would no longer want to hang out with them, because I would be too stuck up and prissy for them. And they were wrong, because I've stayed close to my non-Greek friends. But yes being in a sorority you do have another side to you, and yes I do like and have some of those things, but that's not what I'm all about either. On my list I think I would have to add my favorite pair of worn down blue jeans, and my comfy hooded sweatshirt that I wear when I sit around and drink beer before football games, because we often have tailgates with Pi Phi.
I didn't join a sorority so I could brag about the things I have, I joined one so that I could brag about the sisters that I have.

YOU GO HILLARY!!! I AGREE TOTALLY!! It isn't what you have, but it's the bond that you have with your sisters. It doesn't matter what you drive or how many Kate Spade purses you have in your closets that match your BEBE black bootleg pants.....I guess I feel this way because I was never spoiled, and yes, I will admit that my parents DO have money, but they chose to spend it on my education, not cars and clothes...I pay for all of that myself...and other independant women who work for everything appreciates everything alot more! But hey, it's just my two cents....I hope no one is offended by my comments, I am only stating my opinion!

Ok, first of all, this is a fun, cute thread of wants and wishes mixed in with what we have. We are merely exchanging ideas, and it's really kind of tongue-in -cheek at that.I will admit that I am spoiled to an extent and have never wanted for anything, but I am not obnoxious as to what I have. I would never judge a girl based on whether she had a Kate Spade or the newest Land Cruiser. My parents were never frivolous with money and neither am I. I understand the value of a good education, and also understand the value of a good PERSONALITY. Although I do spend money on the above listed items, I feel that most of these items will last a long time, and are good quality pieces I can use again and again. I have found that by buying the best I save in the long run. These past few postings show how some topics on this site are taken to far by people who just want to cause animosity on the board. WHY is it that whenever there is a fun, harmless topic on here, it gets bashed?

Nope. I don't think you missed a thing. I married a Sig Nu and he definitely fits in the "nice guy" category. Thanks for the laugh.

-A Kate Spade picture book to hold pictures from all your formals and exchanges
-Pearl or diamond studs (They go with everything)
-A J.Crew and Nordstrom credit card
-That perfect pair of dark denim jeans(I'm still seaching!)
-A classic peacoat
-A good CD and an accompanying sister for the gym.
-A Kate Spade, Guess or Loius Vuitton bag that always holds...Altoids, good old chapstick, and water on hand for those "here he comes!" moments, a cell phone with good service, eyeliner and cheek color or bronzer for touch ups(all you need to look refreshed!), and a day planner.
-A trip to get a french manicure on "blah" days. They make you feel 10 times more put together!
-A buddy or sister to save you when scary guys are hitting on you at parties!
And most importantly...
True knowledge and appreciation of one's sorority and an honest respect and love for one's sisters!
