I have a great response for that but I won't say it. I reserve my jew jokes for my jewish friends whom I know will laugh very hard. My sense of humour is extremely dark.

God no. It was better than that. Don't get me wrong; I am more than fully aware of the gravity of the Holocaust. I happen to think up terrible comebacks before I can stop myself. Not at all reflective of personal beliefs.

I was, however, going to write a research paper about the ethics of the medical research the nazis performed using jews. It was awful but on the other hand we wouldn't know how far the human body can be pushed. Before I get jumped upon for this, I was brought around to this viewpoint by an ex who was extremely jewish and had most of his extended family killed in Dachau. I was amazed he could be so scientifically objective, to be honest. But he did make a point.

Well, the good thing about having an adult brain is that we're able to censor ourselves. Whether or not we choose to do so is why we're often held accountable for slips of the tongue.

Risky comedy is only as humorous or nonbigoted as its audience receives it. People would have to take your word for it when you say it doesn't reflect personal beliefs. But, if people can't control their humor, I'd much rather they make overt jokes than do covert things that impact a group's life chances.

He wasn't really being "scientifically objective" because he wasn't removing the emotion and saying "ya know, this was a good thing...thank God that this happened...we would've never learned this without that...hai(sp) Hitler!"

The truth of the matter is that many natural and human-made disasters show us things about humanity. How the body works, how much humans can starve before killing and eating one another, the kindness of humankind, the evilness of humankind, the apathy of humankind, and so forth.

Slavery
The Holocaust
Trail of Tears
People who are stranded and became cannibals
9/11
Tsunami
Hurricane Katrina
etc. and etc.

The difference is that natural disasters and "bad luck happenings" are more or less chance so we can learn from them without feeling hatred toward the vile creatures who strategically crafted it.

Well, I tired to be nice but its appearant that you are a docuhebag. I mixed actual facts in with ynaking your chain as it was evident it would be easy to do given your rampant inferiority complex.

Anyway, have fun being fratty and dressing like you stuck in the 80's with a little twist of "Revenge of The Nerds" (so how is Lambda Lambda Lambda?). You most defineitely were one of the kids that got thrwon into lockers in high school and now are overcompensating for it by professing some elitest snob bs and now you're acting all hard behing your computer. Its pricks like you that give fraternities a dad name. You're a joke.

42 page term paper on medical experimentation and programs in Nazi Germany.

Lots of "wow" factor in researching for it.

1. I think a lot of people would be surprised by me if they met me. I'm probably a little too empathetic towards the suffering of others. I'll cry over natural disasters, civil wars, genocides, any sort of death or tragedy. The dark humour is somewhat of a coping mechanism, especially in my profession as an EMT. If you don't laugh you'll cry. BUT...the day I stop caring, the day I find myself feeling racist in any sort of way is the day I leave forever. Not even kidding.

2. Ironically, the ex pretty much said, word for word, what you said, minus the heil hitler. It was very odd to hear it from his mouth. He was a molecular genetics major and jewish by ethnicity only so he was astoundingly liberal in the field of scientific research. He literally could separate his feelings about his family and the nazis in general and the research they performed. It was astounding.

3. Discovery Channel has been doing a series called 'The Human Body: Pushing The Limits' and each episode concentrates on a different system and how it reacts when pushed to the extreme. It's quite fascinating. A lot of the incidents are things people get themselves into as well.

He sounds like those people who thank God for slavery. Eh...slavery taught the heathen Africans Christianity (as if it hadn't already reached Africa), morality, civilization, and all that good stuff.

Forget the crap that the Europeans brought to North America with them. Ignore that because THEY saved just like Jesus saves.

I'd like to uh...apologize for uh...what the British did during the colonial period in Africa. Because it seems like no one these days actually knows what happened or how the things started back then have affected the present-day events.
Putting all the Africans into tribes was good for them. No really it was. Nothing to do with us, all this civil war.

Well there are a few things that i can think of. Some options might be...

1. just suck it up and let them stay for the weekend. with this you can set out some house rules or something so that they can still enjoy themselves but dont cross the barrier of what is acceptable/comfortable for you guys

2. let them party with you guys but suggest some reasonably priced lodging for them so they dont have to actually stay in your house.

3. call it off altogether...though this might cause more tension then its worth. but its still an option
