Why do you think they are getting NPC money? Or are you kidding?

that's the REAL reason it got started...the founder had trouble learning the greek alphabet so she started a new sorority so she wouldn't have to.

that was a low blow. sorry chick with divine inspiration. please don't tell God to strike me down...

Have you EVER in your life met some stoopid people before that are like this? I am kidding about the IFC and NPC, though. However, SOMEbody is financing and profiteering their tripe.

Wow for those who are suppose to represent "finer" womanhood and sisterly love, there sure is a lot of backbiting and slander going on here. I've recently had fellowship with this organization and I find them to be some of the nicest Greeks I've ever met. People who truly uphold the principles they stand for unlike some other organizations I have been around. It's okay though. We understand everyone does not have the same intimacy with God to hear Him clearly when He calls and appoints you to an assignment. However, if it is something you desire He is readily available to you.

I guess my Purpose clearly was not to found God's sorority.

But if He ever did decide to use me to found His sorority, I just hope He gives me the right letters to begin with. I just hate it when God makes typos.

That still doesn't change the fact that the name of their GLO is based on a mistaken understanding of the Greek alphabet. Theta does not translate to an "o".

My guess is that when one insults Greeks we all get upset and pay attention. Other people are curious, so they come to hear your message. So it increases the total pool of people who might hear your message generally.

It finances and profiteers itself, basically.

Yes, I have known a lot of people like this in real life, and the more they self-segregate and I don't have to deal with them, the happier I am in the short term..

Talk about worrying about the mote in your neighbor's eye and missing the beam in your own . . . not to mention that I have looked in vain for anything that would qualify as "slander".

Which I have yet to see about other orgs. I have known backbiters and gossipers in them all.

I want to say something... about the greek letter "Theta". The letters that were chosen-- were chosen as a way to minister. When a person (who is not familiar with the greek alphabet) looks at the letter omega it does not look like an O. Where as Theta is closer. So when they see IOH. They ask what is that? and we can say "I Owe Him"-- as in I owe Jesus Christ my life. And they can say "ahhh, I get it." But some of y'all would never understand.

FYI, I'm not the founder. I am NOT speaking on her behalf, I'm speaking on my own.

We will pray for you. Now run along... Why waste your time making fun of people when you have important work in the community to do?
For someone who's never insulted members of other organizations, you seemed to do a pretty good job here. "Some of ya'll would never understand"? So what, we're all Godless because we aren't in your organization? Don't kid yourself. Don't worry, we'll pray for you, too.

What about the letter omicron, which looks like an English o and is the equivalent of an English o?
