Let's see, things I hope never come back:
1)Baby hair-you know how females slicked the edges of their hair-yuck!
2)fat laces in the sneakers
3)the human beat box-or as I call it, the human spit box
4)high top fades!
I do however wish the wop would come back-I loved that dance as well as the robot. I wish the whole care free attitude of the 80's would come back. You know, when you could wear your favorite shirt, with your favorite pants-even if it didn't match-you just felt good. Everyone's too caught up in the superficial things. I know in the 80's, I didn't care!

Why did I have a special toothbrush to brush down that baby hair..knowing by the end of the day it would be all sweatty and knappy

And remeber those two braids you got in your hair right in the front of your head one on each side to hold down that hard to tame hair....ya'll know you gotta picture with them

And when you had to stay up all Saturday night before Easter to get your hair braided until you got old enough to actually get those bannana curls in them....and we ain't even go get on Easter outfits..lol

Cool

I'm going to have to jump on this bandwagon too......

DO YOU REMEMBER ( some of you may be a little too young)....

-LEE jeans, and you had them in every color: denim. pin-stiped, black, burgundy, etc......
-Name Belts
-MCM suits and velour sweatsuits
-Sheepskins (for those of us who grew up in the colder regions of the U.S)
-Leg-Warmers
-Bally suede shoes
-Vasco, Gloria Vanderbilt and the "original" Sergio Valente jeans
-Two-toned jeans (black and gray, blue and gray)
-Pro-Keds
-The original Fila sneakers that were white with a red and blue stripe
-Gucci sneakers
-Black "Chinese" slippers with one strap and practically NO SOLE!
-the Nikes for girls that came in pastel colors:baby blue, pink, and yellow
-The Facts of Life with, Tootie, Jo, Natalie, and Blair. Don't forget Mrs. Garrett
-The TV show "227" with Mary, Sandra, and Rose
-Stacey Lattisaw and New Edition, when they were Ronnie, Bobby, Ricky, and Mike
-KRS-1, Scott LaRock and Ms. Melody
-Johnny Gill had a Jherri Curl
-The Mary Jane Girls
-Nameplate earrings
-pineapple curls and crimped hairdos!!
-Finger waves, although some, MEN and WOMEN still wear them.
-ColecoVision

Whew!!! Glad I got that off my chest!

Hey, anybody remmember this song:

Belive it or not
I'm walking on air
(can't remmember this part)
Belive it or not
It's just me.

I think it's from that show "The Greatest AMerican Hero." That song is stuck in my head last year and I can't figured out where it came from.

she's fantastic

microchips here and there
she's a SMALL WONDER
and she's make your heart (take flight)??

i think that's what it is...

do you remember...

charles in charge
of our days and our nights
charles in charge
of our wrongs and our rights
and i want...
charles in
charles in
charles in charge of ME!

did anyone ever watch nickelodeon's "you can't do that on television?" I DON'T KNOW...(slime) i was never allowed to watch that show. my mom thought it had no point (which it didn't, but did THAT really matter)

ooh ooh, i just thought of something else: did any of you have spokey-dokes on your bikes? you put them on your bike pegs and they made noise? them, and did you stick a baseball card in your back pegs so it'd flutter around and sound like a motorcycle? you KNOW you did...

How 'bout this DELTABRAT. I remember once I was scrunching down in the chair because I could feel the heat real close to my ears. I hated feeling that heat so close to my skin. Anyway, my grandmother (who raised me) dropped the hotcomb down the back of my shirt trying to pull me up. She felt soooooo bad. (Yeah, I milked it for a week) Unfortunately, the next Saturday after she washed my hair, I was back in the chair.

Hey MaMa,

I think you're too late with wearing sweat pants with one leg up and one leg down. That seems to be coming back in style. It seems like all guys here in Louisiana are doing the one leg up/one leg down thing.

My roommate and I took a strool down memory lane just the other day.

Does ANYbody remember a cartoon called Kid Video or am I the only one?

We can forget Alf,Diff'ert Storkes,Webster, and New Kids on The Block in the mix!

And yes i watched You Can't Do That on Television! I loved that show sooo much.
