I'll never forget that one.

I feel your pain. When I got my wisdom teeth pulled, I woke up for less than a minute during the surgery. It was long enough to hear loud crack in my mouth. I found out later that the dentist had to break my tooth in half to get it out. Nearly five years later, I will never forget that sound.

How awful....Dr. Sharts, paging Dr. Sharts.

I would have to agree on the puking sounds though...pretty damn bad. That and when people suck up their snot, especially my students during tests and quizzes. I walk around the class with a kleenex box.

That would be correct. It would probably be easier to recover from a broken leg than ligament damage, or so I've been told. Oh well, at least I should probably get some good drugs out of the deal.

The warning notes of the Emergency Broadcast System. I like to leave my TV on to nap to noise and that will invariably always wake me up. Maybe its cause I'm in South Dakota and I'm anticipating the next blizzard, but yeah....

The worst sound in the world is when some underweight soccermopped punk starts bantering about 'Southern Greeks'.

......or when a Northern, gel loving, meat-headed Sigma Chi tries to hide, with insults, the fact that he is insanely jealous of how much better Southern fraternities are than his shit for an excuse chapter.

For me, the worst dentist noise is that suction tube thing...the one that sounds kinda like Darth Vader's breathing. I've never had a cavity, so I don't know about the drilling sound. And I still haven't got wisdom teeth (knock on wood that it never happens), so I don't know about the tooth breaking sound either.
