hehe, that's a legit question!
Otter (like the wee cute animal!) bein (b-eye-n...the same I sound as in fine)
It is named after a higher up in the U. Methodist church from way back. We're U.Methodist affiliated, although ironically, more people are Catholic, according to their entrance survey.

OH MAN!! SOOOO Excited! My sorority has picked up........
13!! 13 brand new Tau Delta Kittens !
Now, considering quota was 19, that's pretty. damn. good. Also, considering we're a chapter of 18...this is essentially doubling our size. This is *awesome*.
in other news: (quota=19)
Tau Epsilon Mu- 19 plus off quota, I believe for a total of 22?
Tau Delta- 13
Epsilon Kappa Tau- 14
Theta Nu- 16
Kappa Phi Omega- 19 plus off quota for I think 24
Sigma Alpha Tau- 19 plus off quota for 22?
Firm numbers later, but I've got to get a shower and get ready to reveal myself as a damn proud delta kitten

Unfortunately, no, not all of my girls received bids. While sweetie and I were in our romantic restaurant/dinner date mode, they called the other PX with the info. We had quite a few girls suicide (not just our group, LOTS of girls suicided overall), and quite a few sign independent because they were unhappy with their invites/prospects. A few were extended supplemental bids, a few accepted and a few declined.
And 3 of them are now new sisters of mine, and I'm so happy that they are. All of our new girls are really unique and it is amazing to see our tiny little house so full! With a large senior class (7) leaving this year, I'm really excited to see a large freshman class. If they're anything like our sophomores, we're set. Last year's sophomore class came in and stepped up like no other, and really whipped us all into shape. It will be a challenge because this is the largest pledge class we've had in...well.......an age. But it's very very exciting.

Congrats PhoenixAzul! That's cool to end up with new sisters from your rho chi group. I'm in my rho chi's chapter and that ended up really cool.
Glad to see your letters back in your sig, too! Go TDs!
