I don't much care for this. And why do the other groups have their letters on it, but he didn't put KD anywhere on this? (Or is it written on the side in the tiny green font that can't be read?)

It does say Kappa Delta Sorority on it in the tiny green font.

OK this thread is one of the funniest ones I have read lately. GSS doesn't have an official mascot, so I can't even imagine what a tin ornament would look like. Who is this guy anyway?

I really wish there was a Sigma Kappa one.

I even have a good idea for it! A snake, wrapped around a heart, trying to eat a dove. Also: glitter.

Anyway, this one isn't bad, except for what seems to be a complete lack of painting skillz... either that or he's been using ~~superkool~~ photoshop filters.

And do the deltas appear to be difference sizes or is that just me?

They definitely look like they're different sizes. And the painting job on them isn't the greatest.

So after looking over the website I have come to the realization that the sorority ornaments may actually be some of the nicer ones that he's made. Oh and can someone please explain this to me?

Am I the only person who wouldn't want a Happy Easter ornament on her Christmas tree? He also makes ornaments for Valentine's Day, Mardi Gras, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and St. Patrick's Day if you so desire. Alas no Flag Day ornaments, yet.

In high school they used to call me a flag...except without the L.

(SNL Spartans reference, if anyone is wondering.)

That bunny looks like it's pooping an easter egg.

Well apparently in Ireland, Christmas is moveable because Santa likes to go Bragh.

$86 and your dignity later, you can too.

What Christmas tree?

Anyway, I'm sad to say, but my mom actually has an Easter tree that she puts up. It's about 3' tall, metallic blue, and has egg & bunny ornaments. And, in case I need to state the obvious, it's hidious.

And I'm completely baffeled by the Shamrock Santa. Unless someone's really THAT Irish (ie DRUNK), I don't see why anyone would buy that.

I guess I should also mention that Santa goes Bragh is found under the St. Patrick's Day section.

I'm fairly certain that's just a reflection. Otherwise there's a big white spot on the black quadrant and the KD shell has smudges all over it.

I'm almost disappointed that there isn't a squirrel ornament - would have been entertaining to see how the rendition turned out.

Probably more like a rabid beast than a fluffy, energetic little squirrel.

This has been such a funny thread to read...

As for my sorority's symbol:

I honestly do not like this rather bloated looking version of the kite! As for the colors, Black and Gold are Kappa Alpha Theta's offical colors (Someone earlier said they don't understand why they are black and gold, if you don't like them whatever). Though I don't like the way the artist mixed the colors. It makes the kite look fat! Oh as for the "ugly black line" you guys were talkig about earlier, that is not part of our colors, I think it is glare of the camera flash on the ornament! I can't help but think that a nice ornament of our badge would have been nicer!

http://www.radkosales.com/Fraternity.htm

Just so you know...Radko also does Fraternity ornaments...and they look MUCH better than the sorority ornaments, in my opinion.

Wonder why?? Any thoughts? I definitely like the crests better than the mascots and I wish he would do the Chi-O one--I might actually buy it!

Well, I know black smudge =/= Theta's colors, but I can't imagine how a camera flash would leave a giant shadow in the middle of a yellow section...

On the right I can see shine from lights or a flash or whatever, but on the left?
