My brother and I would watch Nickalodeon all afternoon. Apparently nobody else watched these shows because none of my brother's college friends believed him when he told them he used to watch a cartoon about a koala that came to life when a named Sandy rubbed noses with it. They all thought my brother was making stuff up. The show, by the way, is Noozles.

We also liked watching:
David the Gnome

Maya the Bee

Adventures of the Little Koala

Today's Special

Count Duckula

Inspector Gadget

We watched a lot of tv.

Really? I liked Gordo! Did Lizzie and he ever hook up in the show. I know he pinned for her.

I LOVED Today's Special. And Pinwheel.

He kissed her at the end of the movie, but that's all. (Besides, anything more could have gotten him thrown in jail...he was around 19 and she was like 15 at the time).

Well at least she was cute then. Now she's all lollipop head uber skinny girl. And what's with her teeth? They look like dentures - and they sound like dentures when she talks.

Oh my gosh!!! I had forgotten about Today's Special. We didn't have cable, so it was a great treat to watch it (and others) at Grandma's house I liked David the Gnome, and Maya the Bee had a catchy theme song.

At home, we watched the Smurfs and the Snorks...oh and Looney Tunes, of course.

Back on topic: I loved Raven in the Cosby Show. I've only seen her current show a couple of times, and I found it very silly. I guess that's not a terrible thing for a kid show.

The original was such a funny movie - I hate to think about a remake of it. I can't think of many remakes that have been too good.

Yes the Disney Channel shows are cheesy preteen shows, but let me tell you, they are TONS better than the shows that come on Noggin (or The N) for that age group.

Shows like South of Nowhere, Degrassi, Instant Star, etc are not something I'd want my kids watching. They remind me of ADULT soaps sometimes.

I just happened to sit down and watch an episode of one of those Noggin shows, and in one hour, I saw kids underage drinking at 14, two girls making out, and one kid experiemnting with drugs! I was like whoa.

OMG, I LOVED Today's Special, with the store mannequin that came to life once the store closed and had the special cap on ...

Regarding Raven, I think she is a little much, but she has had difficulty transitioning into the same crossover success as Lindsay Lohan and the girl who played Lizzie McGuire. From what I read, it has been due to her weight, so I think this is Disney's way of trying to get her more marketable in terms of selling movies by focusing at a younger audience, then seeing if she might be as marketable in movies with an older audience.
