No one in the history of Project Runway had shown up with pattern books (not even Wendy Pepper who needed them badly). So, what made him think that he was any different?

I believe Michael is the African American male on the show - the one picked first...Keith was kicked out...he was overly arrogant..

Hey ladies, sorry to crash your forum (I have so much respect for you all)
Michael is my absolute favorite contestant from ANY season of Project Runway. He's cool, he's hip, he's respectful and WOW can he make a mean Pam Grier outfit!!! Everytime he's on camera, I can't help but smile.

LOL, I was thinking the same thing last night. He's nice looking - if he didn't open his mouth to smile or talk, I could work with that.
I am soooooo glad he won! He's becoming a favorite of mine.
Angela definitely stepped up her game last night, I thought she was gonna win or Kayne (even though I didn't really like his dress, to me it looked like something was wrong with the back of the dress).
Bradley was a good sport, but it was so time time him to go home. That outfit he made was horrible.

You think he's playing for the other team? *raising eyebrow* I don't get that from him. Unless he is a homo thug.... I don't think he is. I hope not. I'm at a lost for words.....

I could just be biased because he's in fashion. Who knows?
I would still wear anything he would care to design for me!

^^
On some other boards I belong to, I've gotten mixed signals about Michael's sexual orientation, but the majority have indicated he likes the ladies.
Glad that he won. Magenta is a wonderful color, and I'm old enough to remember Pam Grier in her kick-a**, Afro glory. Of course, very glad that Laura advanced. Katherine isn't my favorite Hepburn, but the brown and pink color combo is a very common one.
Angela is part cockroach. She really is. I wasn't completely feeling the dress, particularly the cut down the chest. I doubt that a modern Audrey H. would rock a cut designed for women w/tig ol' bitties.
Robert disappointed me. I'm a classic fashion gal -- he should have done the suit in a lightweight wool, rather than linen.

I am SHOCKED to say that I really loved what Angela did. Loved it as long as you cut it off before those hideous huge rosettes. The necline did plunge, but their task was to modernize it, and I thought for a more modern look it was reasonable- I could totally see Audrey in it (except for the nasty rosettes).
