I'm guessing someone knows what fraternity has a white star symbol and was founded in 1848, they just don't wanna claim this charming member.

A Googlesearch with 1848 and fraternity came up with Phi Gamma Delta. There are white stars throughout the website.
Now the question is: What school? I guess he's a southerner judging by his SEC comments

Seeing as we're everywhere, I don't know if it matters. 119 chapters, 5 colonies. It doesn't matter. I'm waiting for OTW to answer my question.

What an idiot.
I was going to leave a lengthy reply but White Star isn't worth the effort.

with everything so many of us are trying to do to get rid of greek strereotypes, we have this guy.......thanks.
i can't believe someone would put down another group because of when they were founded or because they were founded on a basis of multiculturalism. that would be like me saying someone doesn't matter because they were born after 1983 and they must be stupid because they would only be 21 or younger. Age means nothing. or that any organization that uses a white star as a symbol is stupid because whats the point of a white star. (i do not actually feel this way) come on, realize how ridiculous you sound.
I also think it is so impossible and pointless to rank organizations because 1. everyone feels their org is best, 2. each organization is completely different and cannot even be compared 3. each org has something that they offer that is different than all teh others and while one may be full of the 'hot/popular guys who have the best parties' another may be the guys that I would feel comfortable walkign me home after a party, or the guys who really enjoy community service. if ranking really mattered, then there would be about 1 or 2 organizations on each of our campuses. some campuses have over 20 thriving orgs. it goes to show that there are places for all different types of people with all different interests and backgrounds in greek life....and for me, thjat is the beauty of it-the diversity within the community!

I don't think White Star is educated enough to understand what you have said, dznat187. If he even gave two shits about Greek life, he wouldn't be saying the things he's said. He's nothing but a closed-minded, whining brat.

I believe that if you're talking about the "Nationals" for Alpha Sigma Alpha, Zeta Tau Alpha, Kappa Delta, and Sigma Sigma Sigma (Farmville 4 shout out...hehe), as a group, then it would be correct to say: "The Nationals of the Farmville Four...etc"
