I am not. I want to be buried with all MY parts.....every last one of them. No particular reason I just want my stuff to go with me.

I used to feel that way, but I have since changed my mind. I decided to become a donor after seeing people around me need organs, etc. with limited donors. When my grandmother was diagnosed with cancer and needed blood often, I decided to become a blood donor. I also decided to become a bone marrow donor. My grandfather and one of my close friends both suffered from kidney failure. Both died without ever getting transplants.
When I am dead and gone, I will have NO need for what remains of my body. I would rather someone be able to benefit from what can be used. The family of my friend that passed away donated the organs that were still able to be used. It makes me happy that even though I lost my friend, she is still alive in someone else.
