I hate Pantene! Last time I used it (about 5 years ago at a friend's house) it left my hair looking oily and limp. Fructis is also bad about doing that to my hair, too.

I can't stand Neutrogena's facial mositurizer. It's too thick and oily for my face. It also smells bad. Neutrogena's Clean Lash mascara and Acne Solutions Kit really didn't impress me either.

Whoever said they didn't like Brilliant Brunette stuff...I'm with you! I tried it for a while, but it made my hair feel...well, yucky. That's the only way I can describe it. Normally my hair is very slick and smooth 'cause it's naturally straight, but that stuff left a sort of film on it. Ew.

I'm not a fan of Bare Essentuals myself. I know there's a huge amount of hype over that stuff and everyone and their grandmother loves it, but it made my skin feel tight and gritty. It didn't cover for crap, and it didn't stay on, either.

Another foundation I don't like is the Bobbie Brown stuff. My sister and her friends swear by it, and even though it covers like a dream, it makes my skin break out soooooooo badly. I talked to my doctor about it and she insisted that as long as I was washing my face at night, it wouldn't matter what kind of makeup I wore but I beg to differ because ever since I quit using it, my skin has cleared back up to its normal state and I no longer look like a 12-year-old.

I could go on and on because I'm a beauty products junkie.

I tried Brillian Brunette too and yes, it's Y-U-C-K-Y, especially the conditioner.

I think Garnier Nutrisse is horrible. It colored half of my hair dark and half of it light. None of it was the correct color of light brown. I called the company and they immediately offered me my money back.

MAC Diva here

For me MAC is love. It is one of the lines that is great for women of all shades...trust me, I have had problems finding makeup for my skin tone.

Never have been acne prone, and I love Studio fix. Not crazy about some of the LipGlass and Mascara (I prefer Lancome for Mascara). I have more MAC lipsticks than you can shake a stick at

Not crazy about Clinique lip gloss but I love their 3 step skin program.

I love OPI nail colors. Altar Ego is my staple color

Mac lipstick is the only lipstick that stays on me. I love it. I have not tried any of their other products.

I am looking for a good mascara that will last 14 hrs. I work overnights and by the time I see my clients in the morning I look like a raccoon.

BTW, if anyone needs a good detangler, try Rusk smoother passionflower and aloe-it works very well.

Again, for any of you curley haired people out there that are tired of your curls, I highly recommend the Japanese straightening treatment. It is permanent though (at least until your hair grows out).

I was going to ask if anyone had ever tried Bare Essentials. I'm currently obsessed w/ the WE channel, and they're always going the commercials. I have super dry skin that's uber pale, but kind of blotchy, and it looked like it might do the trick (I hate wearing foundation).

Thanks for saving me the $$.

Any thoughts on Mary Kay? It's the only thing I buy when it comes to make-up, and I use their face wash, toners, acne cream, and moisturizer, too.

As for shampoo/conditioner, I use Aussie products - they're the first line of hair products I've ever stuck with for more than a few months.

Mary Kay foundation always looked funky on me. I didn't think the color was right and it was a little too thick for my liking. They had one great powder blush that I liked a lot. Well, big surprise, they discontinued that color.

ISUKappa posted links earlier int he thread where you can buy tiny samples to test it out. If you are interested in it and that it would work, it may be worth the $3-4 to try it out.

Am I the only person who LOVES Brilliant Brunette? It makes my hair feel and look amazing... the whole line of styling products is great. I alternate with that and the Neutrogena Triple Moisture shampoo/conditioner.

I can't STAND Thermasilk. It makes my hair dull and greasy.

I can't stand that Garnier Fructis stuff. I also hate Clinique's mascara. I got a good sample of it once and ended up buying a tube of it, and it ended up being horrible. I recently discovered the L'Oreal Double Extend mascara, and that's the best stuff I've ever used.

I like brilliant brunette, it worked nicely for my hair. I also can't stand Fructis. My mom got this 2 in 1 shampoo/conditioner thing from there and it is the grossest thing ever. It has a glue-like consistency when you take it out of the bottle. That can't be a good sign of what's to come.

Wow, some people must LOVE those Lancome Juicy Tubes. I have a gift with purchases sized one in Strawberry Glaze (it does seem to be rare) on auction on ebay that has been bid up to $17.50!!!!! I mean, if some dumbass wants to give me that much for it, knock yourself out, but wow
