Honestly I think he is just really weird and misunderstood. Sleeping with boys is pretty bad but I don't think he ever touched them.

And I think this mother was just out to get money. They already lied about stuff, and a mother who is "grieving" her son being molested wouldn't act like that in court.
I agree. Meseraeux (or however you spell it) said he is just really nice, too nice, and people took advantage of him. I have heard people saying that about him for years. The public acts the same way as those who get into a group: once the momentum gets going its hard to stop it. The bottom line is that no one knows but him and the accusers whether he is a molestor. In the end all we really can do is go by the conslusion the jury came to which was that he was not guilty. If this "innocent until proven guilty" doctrine of the legal system is going to work and be taken seriously, then it starts here. People have to let legal issues die and trust the jurors when they make their determination of guilt or innocence. The suit is over, so let the man alone.

"Jackson Won't Share Bed With Kids Again By TIM MOLLOY, Associated Press Writer

SANTA MARIA, Calif. - Basking in the jurors' decision to acquit his client of all counts, Michael Jackson's lawyer said Tuesday the singer will no longer share his bed with young boys.

"He's not going to do that anymore," attorney Thomas Mesereau Jr. told NBC's "Today." "He's not going to make himself vulnerable to this anymore."
I've read several news articles where his lawyers state that he's not going to allow children to sleep in his bed anymore because it makes him vunerable to ficticious accusations and lawsuits. The fact that his reason is not "because it is inappropriate and poor boundaries" (instead the reason is to avoid legal issues and being taken advantage of) tells me that he has no clue what boundaries are.

Add that into the setting/decor/setup/whatever of his "Neverland" ranch and the comments that he's trying to recreate the childhood he never had leads me to believe that he is not functioning on an adult level. Mentally, he's a child (probably less than a 10 year old). Look at how he talks, his mannerisms, his actions...do you see a middle aged man in any of that? I don't. (I'd love to see how he interacts with his children...that would be an interesting observation).

Don't get me wrong...I'm glad he's saying he won't have any more sleepovers, etc (let's hope he holds true to that) no matter what reasons he's using for it. "Avoiding false accusations" may have been the only way to get him to understand what he's doing wrong...kinda like telling a child if you play in the street I'll take your skateboard away (cause they may not understand "An 18 wheeler will kill you dead").

A jury of his peers may have found him not guilty on all charges, but the court of public opinion seems to think otherwise. There's gonna be a lot of Monday morning quarterbacking going on long after the trial's over.

'Nuff said.
Sorry if people especially blacks don't take "lynching" as funny.

Ara.

I should be the one thanking you for all of your contributions. I want to thank you for your post about dressing as a transexual alien.

Now I know why I lose girls to guys like you. You are such a madman. That incident with the neighbors cow was also interesting. I want to party with you.

You are not weird, you are just misunderstood.

I'm not really in a mood to hang anyone - although, Michael Jackson, Blake and Phil Spector can all get on a boat and go somewhere far away so I don't need to hear about them anymore.

Yeah, funny how child molestation, coupled with the distinct opportunity for repeated offenses, is a hot-button issue for some people. What a bunch of racists.

I think they can provoke a more emotional response; in a lot of ways, being a child molester is looked down upon more than being a murderer.

I didn't make a value judgement, I simply noted the potential for visceral or emotional response to each.

If you'd like more specific evidence, you should investigate the background of the victim of the Robert Blake murder and see how perhaps race is not the only issue toward the relative emotional character of each case.

You might also want to consider the relative fame of each man.
