convention will be held 7/12 thru 7/16 in the woodlands, texas(suburb of houston). i believe at the marriott.

I was at our 1998 Convention in AZ....I was 6 months pregnant and the 100 degree plus June heat was a bit much for me!!! But it was a nice time...plus I was carrying my little legacy with me!  I also attended our '04 Convention in San Antonio. We had a blast but overall I don't think the food was as good as it was at the Hilton, nor was our room as nice...we had this outrageous suite in AZ with a pool right outside our door. I will be one of 3 advisors attending in DC for my chapter and we are taking at least 4 actives. I'm really looking forward to the "break" from the daily grind again. We're driving, since it is only a 6 hour trip and we are saving enough on airfare to take extra delegates.

I'd say it's safe to say that most NPC groups have their Convention during the even-numbered years!
(Maybe next we can add the "themes" for each Convention.)

I will be attending my first Theta Grand Convention this summer! I am so excited, but Texas in summer...ouch.
One nice thing is I will probably be the oldest member from my chapter and I am all of 27! But when you're a charter member you usually get that honor. 
Theta's was in Indian Wells 2 years ago, which was kinda close for me, but too pricey as I was a relatively recent grad and paying too much on rent. (Welcome to San Diego!)
This year I am the Alumnae Chapter delegate so it's not all on my dime. And I get to vote!
As soon as convention ends, I fly to Atlanta to visit my oldest sister, who is a GPhiB. <member ID: GPhiBLtColonel> She will be in Arizona for her convention right before.
So we can decompress together! And I can get her back on GreekChat since it's been almost a year!
