If I had to date a 42 year old man, Tom Cruise would be one of my first choices. Come on, he's hot. She's hot. It'll be over in a few months. Woo hoo. Next!

IT must be a city thing Cream.

It seems that people in the larger cities really don't blink an eye at age differences, race differences, religious differences, etc. in relationships.

The age difference between Tom and Katie would occassion no comment in Manhatten.

Nor would a race difference. *shrug*

It might be a lack of exposure in people. Many people have very little exposure to couples with large statistical differences.

I say statistical because thats what people will usually focus on: religion, race, age, financial status etc. The various things that we use to categorize and define people we don't know personally as human beings.

I see couples who have a significant age difference (10+ years) between them in NYC all the time. It's not a big deal so maybe New Yorkers are just used to it, don't care, or have better things to do with their time.

I dunno.. I think they have the same age difference as my dad and me, so that just bothers me.
Katie has never really publicity whored before...maybe there's some real feelings going on... but it IS VERY suprising. I thought her and Chris Klein were cute together.

Ellen is on at the same time here. The lineup: Goldie Hawn, Jimmy Smits, Gretchen Wilson performs, and Ellen visits the set of Faith Hill's video shoot.

Ellen is the winner today.

Did you see any of it? He's like jumping on Oprah's couch and being a hyper idiot. Talking about marriage and all this junk. He's an actor by trade, a decent one, and he's certainly putting those skills to work. It just looks so fake

I watched it this morning. It did look like he was doing a bit much! I know Oprah was like "please calm down!" lol.

Yeah...I watched him on Oprah today also. He really creeped me out when he was on there. Katie however, looked cute and not-creepy.

Did anyone else notice today on Oprah that Katie still has those herpes things on her upper lip? Girl, you go with your ultra famous b/f to the Oprah show & you know good and well they will put YOU on too-WEAR SOME FRICKIN CONCEALER!

I believe that you are not supposed to wear concealor on them as it irritates them and they don't heal as well as they should.

I like Katie Holmes and can stand Tom Cruise, but today, he got on my nerves! Everytime he got on his knee and knocked on the floor, I just wanted to screen at the TV, "You look like a fool!"
