I'm sick of playing nice while others on this board think they can bully disenters or others into submission... so I will continue to express my opinions in the way I see fit... just as you did asshole when you called me a paedophile.

Yes Rudey I do have experience in seeing what a human body looks like after it has been decaptitated by a bayonet... again because I have seen shit like this in my life, shit I will never forget (or in some cases forgive). It comes with the territory when you are the first people on the scene after a village has been "ethnically cleansed".

As for the rocket comment... the original issue you had with me is when I pointed out the laughable attempt by the IDF to implicate the UN with some footage caliming to show militants with a rocket - footage that did prove to show a stretcher not a rocket.

As for the attack in Iraq - I said that it looked like a mortar attack based on the destructive radius of the blast (I believe I even gave caliber specualtions); I never considered a sucide bomber because I was under the impression that the security messures at the base were "high" to say the least, I like many of the military personnel invovled never expected the security to be breached - a mortar attack was suspected by them too, mainly because the base had come under assault before, and the lack of a hardened shettler was a complain made by the troops... but it turns out I was wrong, and security was breached in an ultra-secure zone...

So pardon this "old man" (as you yourself has labeled me in the past) decides to use work and personal experience to make commentaries on subjects...

No hey it's OK if you want to pretend you know things, lie, and then turn out wrong. It shows what kind of "experience" you have. But don't worry. You can keep talking and talking about it on Greekchat because it's not against the rules. Now accusing me of things is insulting me and is against the rules, cursing at me and insulting me is against the rules, and oh yeah telling me you're going to gut me and kill me is against the rules.

So roll your eyes. Your reputation has solidified and you don't even desire one bit to stop attacking others and other countries with your lies (not truth), so I doubt your reputation will change - nor will your hunger for blood.

You're a total apologist, and your arm-chair QBing gets old fast. You spout then don't back it up w/ any citation or literal proof, like we're supposed to yield to experience and opinion. This is exactly what the fundamentalists you decry utilize as SOP.
Yes my views are pretty entrenched themselves, however I don't tend to make it a habit of telling people and the country off - when they are my hosts - thats just impolite.

If I do disagree I tend to engage in debate, and you can ask the people on GC who have met me about that one...

I don't see how I can cite the ravings and rantings of drunken Republicans from yesterday... I don't make it a habit of going around "wired"... I was simply repeating the crap that was spewed by them, crap that has pissed me off... and put me on more than a little edge. Of course I could go on about the useless conspiracy crap that I heard from the Democrats (who were hosted for the election), but the threads not about them really is it?

Finally I'm an apologist how and for whom?

Actually you are the only one that has called into question either my experience or service... I guess it's your way of trying to undermine an arguement or stance that you can't otherwise... kinda like how you also resort to attacks on character, education, or intellect of others whom you seek to undermine...

Right so how can I in a credible way prove to you that my service or experiences are true? Can't very well get a comrade to come in and have a talk... maybe I can round up some photos for you... would you like that? To see some of the atrocities and crap I have seen? To see what a graveyard looks like after it has been targeted by artillery? or how about what seniors look like after they have been torched in their beds? perhaps you'd like to see what a 12 year-old looks like after she has literally been raped to death? or how about what a flooded mass-grave looks like after year? hey maybe I can drag up the photo of Irina that shows her body after she had her head sawed-off by a bayonet for the crime of being an interpreter for my unit? What sick horrible filth do you want posted to justify your continued questioning of my personal experiences? What sick horrible crap do you want me to relive in order to satisfiy your petty nature?

The guys you hosted sound like douches - that wasn't what I was referring to.

Oh I fully understand what tools they were... unfortunately it's the impression that they made that continues to reinforce my (and others) views of rabid republicanism from the US...

Oooh... sorry I didn't know that not participating in the current American "anti-French" movement was being an apologist...

So in the first statement you agree that you're ignorant and in the second statement you lie and attack others as anti-French and admit you're an apologist.

BIG HUG!

Nah, participate at your leisure . . . but turning your eyes away from some of the terrible mistakes the French government has made certainly meets my definition.

And it's not 'anti-French', it's 'anti-French government' . . .

Well, I was there. I don't care whether the media was liberal or conservative, I saw what was going on. That particular article was wrong. It happens that the article is liberally biased. You do the math.

I have no kneejerk reaction here, I could care less what the media said about it. I was just correcting the GCers who were wrong in their assumptions.

I wish I could attend one, it sounds like a really cool experience to witness the President's swearing in. As for the empty streets, it's all securty, no big woop. I saw it on TV, there were crowds everywhere. Must of been an exciting day in DC, but sorry for the traffic headaches...

The funny part is that the county in Wyoming where Cheney calls home went Blue, as did the county that contains Bush's ranch in Crawford, Texas. And DC went Blue as well. Any coincidence that the places where they live dont want them?
