some quick points:

-i never have to hear "1918" ever again, whether it's being chanted in daddy stadium or from guys on the street

-finally, something to offset john henry williams and no no nanette and eckersley's coke runs and those embarrassments running tangent to the sox

-around 70% of the people i talked to last night had cried at some point (all dudes)

-i really, really liked this team - it was like the fraternity house, just a random bunch of dudes that made each other better . . . so weird

-the script was perfect . . . and i want to murder tim mccarver, that guy is a retard, but even he had to acknowledge it

-i'm going to grin for 5 straight months

I just heard that...first thing Saturday morning. If so, I'm there...the only Yankee fan in a sea of red.

Finally Menino may have had a good idea...about damn time.

I just wanted to say congrats to the Red Sox and to all of the Red Sox fans. You out-played my Cards through out the entire series and deserved to win.
No matter what though, I am a faithful Cardinal fan. It will come back to STL again someday. I was just hoping that this would have been our year, but the Red Sox wanted the World Series a bit more than the Cardinals. Again, from a Cards faithful fan, congrats to the Red Sox.

Manny Ramirez got the MVP. I never thought the day He, of all the people in Red Sox Nation, would get this award.

Go Figure.

anyway, Congrats to the BOSTON RED SOX

Finding a Boston Globe or Herald is near impossible today...luckily I got my hands on a couple copies of each (although not the special-edition Herald they just put out).

I personally don't think the Yanks should be gunning for Pedro, but I find this picture hilarious.

2004 chants at Fenway this year when the Yankees visit. Yay! I plan on going to at least one of those games in the 2005 season. I am just happy I got to see the World champs play in person 4 times this year.

My uncle owns a gas station out in Foxboro, he already set aside a copy of the Glode and Herald for me. Should be in the mail tomorrow! I cant wait. I suppose reading the paper is the next best thing to being there.

i found a place right by my apartment tonight that had a ton of copies of the globe still. so i bought one for me and one for my dad, since the normal delivery he gets was a different version.
