Re: When I was student teaching back in 98
**************************************************
Sista,
Just think of how many of us would lose in the first round if we had a "Name" spelling bee - spelling names either one way or the "ebonics" way!! And Don't leave out the pronounciation of names either!!
Example: Keysha - (no puns intended) can be spelled
Keisha, Kesha, Keesha, Kisha, Ceesha, (yes I went there) Keeycha, Ke Ke (I had to put that one in there - I got tired of spelling)!! I know there's more!!

I agree, the Kecia I know spells her name one of the ways not mentioned above.

But this is what really tripped me out one day: I was at the nail salon getting a manicure and there was this black girl there with a LIME GREEN WEAVE, 10 inch fingernail claws, a gold framed tooth in her mouth and air-brushed designed toenails (I'm not even gonna get into what she was wearing). Girlfriend had a tongue ring and a tattoo on her arm of some guys name. So my friend was with me and she called my name. And the ghetto girl was like, "Oooooh, you're name is sooo pretty. I wish mine was, but it's so ugly." I was like, "oh, what's your name?" Mind you, I was expecting her to say Shawnquisha, Tajuanette, "Boomquisha," or something to that effect......she was like "My name is Susan Marie." Something wasn't matching up...

Between your responses, you should be able to zero in on it. But I gotta do the ritual as far as your responses here:
SORRY! *insert buzzer sound!*
In my 60s Public Service Announcement male voice:
Almost, but not quite!
Oh, and the 500 cyber dollars has now been dropped to 100 cyber dollars and a night on the town with yours truly cause I had to help yall.

CORRECT!!!! *Bells ring, Match Game theme music plays, audience roars in cheers and applause. Actor Jack Klugman (Oscar on "The Odd Couple") runs around the stage, spins the Match Game Star Wheel like a maniac, runs through the set, knocks over a prop, gives Marcia Wallace a kiss on the cheek, and gives SFactor a big hug before settling down and returning to his seat.*
RM reluctantly gives SFacter his/her CY$100 in twenties, counting off, 2,4,6,8, $100 cyber dollars.
Now how I am going to give SFactor that night on the town is beyond me. Shoot, after paying her, I'm broke!!!!
Oops, I almost forgot, D.COM should technically get the glory because she actually got it correct first. But because I am a nice guy, I will make SFactor and D.COM co-winners and they will split the prize money *RM takes three twenties from SFactor and gives it to D.COM and tells D.COM that she owes SFactor CY$10* Hee hee.
Congratulations SFactor and D.COM, and a big thanks to all those who participated

First, I would like to thank God....
Rain Man, it has been an honor to have the opportunity to participate in your "Guess That Name" Show. I couldn't have done it without your hints. I would also like to thank the fans and other contestants, because without them there would be no show. SFactor, I know you got BIG hints from my responses, but it's all good. We should go out sometime and have a blast with the money...lol.
Okay, gotta go now...where's my trophy? (LOL!)

Thank you!! Thank you!! Thank you!!
Yes I Thank God too - for not letting me name my children names that they probably couldn't pronounce until they turn 18!!
Rain Man - you are a wonderful host for splitting the prize or we would have had to go before one of those Judges: Judy, Joe Brown,Greg Mathis or Milian (People's Court)!! Your next goal should be finding another name for us to pronounce (by means of cyberspace of course) or become a host of a game show!!! I believe you have your remote control programmed on the game show network!!!
D.COM - here's your gift from me that I bought with my cyber dollars!! It's the least I can do for all that you've done!!
