If you really truly want to discuss why I feel you come off this way, feel free to PM me - although it was listed as "A" this is the weakest part of my argument, as it is an impression given over time, and it is WAY off-topic (as well as the fact that I don't have that kind of time here at the office) . . . however, for a taste, re-read your responses to Rudey when he describes his inclusion as stemming from him being an American. You seem to be backhanding him w/ the American bit.

Don't come back with something smug either, claiming there is no evidence - you seem to revel in your contrarian stances toward American policy, at least until called on it, and you've cracked about how uninformed etc etc the American people are as well. If you truly feel you support America and Americans, feel free to explain yourself in the IM you'll surely send within the next ten minutes or so.

Also - really, I still don't get how you mistook me for Rob Cooper, and honestly I feel you took a veiled cut at him with regard to being "emotional" considering the row he and Rudey had previously . . . so don't play the ivory tower game w/ regard to personal attacks, boss, I'm not buying it.

At no point did I claim you supported Hussein - you're turning that into a false dilemma (either A or B, jackmove, and at this point you should seriously start web surfing for "logical fallacies" . . . there are many amazing resources, and you might actually contribute to these debates if you understood why some of your points come off as weak).

The Hussein bit was there to tell you why war can be a good thing - your point was that you couldn't see any positives, and I retorted with what I feel is a clear positive: removing a terrible human being from a position of absolute power over a populus nearly powerless to defend themselves or rectify the situation and thus avoid attrocities. This does NOT mean that if you don't support the war, you DO support Hussein - that's completely turning the argument on its ear.

In regards to me confusing you with RC Cooper...I always just thought you were the same person. And in no way was that comment towards him, but rather to the post you wrote to me.


About the American bit, I'm sorry you felt that it was comment towards your country, but it really isnt. Go and read all the stuff Rudey has said to me in the past, about me not being American and that I shouldn't discuss any American issues because I happen to be Canadian, and therefore, worthless? So yeah, I don't see where you come to such assumptions that I am viciously stereotyping all american people. That's defamation right there.

You're really over doing it with the whole fallacy crap to be frank with you. You are still missing the point...

I couldn't care less if you're American, Canadian, Pacific Islander . . . I'm just pointing out the impression you give with your posts.
