Beta Lambda results
As the mom of one of the new 55 I can report that they're absolutely thrilled to be a part of Gamma Phi!
(I got a text message while at work - "We're the top house! 55 of us! GAMMA PHI BETA ROCKS!!! We're founded upon it actually. )
Think back to the excitement you felt when you first got your bid. The beaming daughter on my cell phone couldn't be happier.
Congratulations!

LOL....that's cute! I'm an alumna member on the House Corporation Board for Beta Lambda chapter......and I work for SDSU in the Office of the Dean of Students. I hope I'll get a chance to meet your daughter one of these days!

I just wanted to share with you all that the Alpha Tau chapter at McGill University got 8 fantastic new women on Saturday (quota was 9). We also plan to COB 3 or 4 others including a legacy whose sister is still an active.[COLOR=deeppink]

Congrats...
And let me just say how enjoyable it was to meet one of your sisters (alum I think) at Les deux Pierrot two weeks ago - no I don't remember her name... umm I was enjoying the Old Montreal, really enjoying.
Only regret of the night is was that my sister couldn't have made the trip; I'm sure she would have had a blast meeting any of the McGill Gamma's in a more relaxed setting

Congrats ATGphiB! Good luck with COB.
just out of curiosity did quota go up, down or stay the same this year at McGill?
It went up at U of T this year so i'm wondering if it is a trend in Canada?

Thanks everyone!
AAGamma - quota did go up this year, I believe it was 6 or 7 last year. Our panhellenic did an incredible job marketing recruitment this year, which is vital considering how much Montreal has to offer new students. An alum of one of the other chapters said to me that it was the easiest bid matching ever - the large majority got their first choice house and the rest got their second. There are still plenty of spectacular girls that are interested and either had to drop out of rush early or couldn't do it the week it was so I'll let you know our final number once we have it!
RACoopers - glad you enjoyed yourself. There are plenty of 'new alums' still kicking around, so I can't even begin to guess...

UC Riverside finished today... I must say, I am SO PROUD of Gamma Phi! They were one of the favorite chapters for all PNMs this year (which can be a bad thing if they love GPhiB too much and don't take their bid to another chapter... sad)... but they got an INCREDIBLE new member class and I'm so happy with their results!
Quota was 15 (low for UCR) and we took 16 through formal and have since COB'd 3 and are looking for 2 more, then we'll be at total.

didn't see my old chapters results, so here they are:
zeta lambda at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi got quota plus with 23. i think that makes at least three years in a row getting plus, maybe four. they rock at recruitment!
