OK. If you want to play little games. Sure he did. Just like President Bush took a month long vacation after thirty days in office. I wish I had a job like that.

And just like they both are missing everything going on in their offices while they're out campaigning. Both of them.

It's pretty silly sitting here repeating every charge that each campaign is making against each other. But, if all of you want to make your voting decisions on either side's propaganda -- be my guest. I think I'll make my own decision based on what I think is important.

So, have fun.

Umm I can't believe you don't have a job like that. I had 10 days vacation coming out of college. Senior bankers here have 2 months vacation. Teachers probably have about 3.

He once told me that you can never place any amount of medals on the sacrifice of a solider. You can't give a solider five purple hearts for almost being killed. You can't give a solider three purple hearts for losing a leg. You can't give a soldier two purple hearts for losing an arm. But you can give a solider one purple heart for being wounded in battle, demonstrating the risk the solider takes, a risk that could ultimately result in death. He told me you can never compare a material object to the wound of a soldier because the purple heart demonstrates the sacrifice of the soldier (no matter to what degree) during a time in which a solider can lose everything.

That's a debate I hold dear to me because my grandfather always did... [/B]

Damasa, your post about your grandfather is amazing. He sounds like a terrific and wise person.
And, you're right about the whole Purple Heart thing. Let's move on. The issues surrounding what Kerry did upon his return are much more significant IMO. And at this point Kerry is ill served by sending Cleland out to pull a cheap and predictable publicity stunt.
That's my .02.

Oh so you didn't finish your statement when you typed that? It looked pretty finished to me, you know with the period at the end of the sentence.

Just admit it, you should have edited your post when you first typed it.

I thought we weren't typing in caps?

Some are probably bitter of what Kerry said over thirty years ago regarding atrocities and such in Vietnam. Did these things happen? I'm sure some did as according to accounts told by other Vietnam vet throughout the years. Does Kerry actually know? Did he actually witness these things? Maybe, maybe not? Did the swiftboat vets actually witness these things? Maybe, maybe not? But I'll take the message from those that actually served with Kerry a little more serious.

Do the swiftboat vets have a right to be upset about what Kerry said after he returned home? Hell yes they do as well they should be. I think that's the biggest issue here (as Rudey has stated many times).

I agree with you! What happened to the issues? The swift boat ads have hijacked everything.

Orange county had some issues with their finances and budgets a little while ago and their schools must not have had enough money to teach you how to read properly. I'm sorry about that but perhaps you went to a college that had one of those remedial classes for students lacking any ability to read and follow up the reading process with some sort of comprehension.

Ahhh so where did you get that I was from Orange County? Why would you mention it if you didn't think that "O.C." was Orange County?

I like how you try to cover your blunders with sarcastic replies.

Actually my post didn't say I didn't think that. Yes I did think that. I also thought you were not bright enough to understand what I meant just like you were not bright enough to read.

I thought you were from Orange County becuase in your location you said the O.C. Now some might write NJ in their location and then people would think it's Jersey but maybe that retarded person will be upset that people don't know she's from New Johnston or something.

So how was I not "bright" enough when you were the one who thought that the O.C. was Orange County? *still laughing at this*

lol let me break it down for you Rudey.

The O.C. is a SHOW.
The show is in CALIFORNIA.

Therefore: Home of the O.C.

Got it?

It's a popular show, I'm shocked that you were confused that easily, but oh well.

Right or you could have meant the US becuase the US has california which has the OC. Or you could have meant North America, or the world, or whatnot. Brilliant. And now you're on ignore.

Maybe she's from Ozaukee County. Lots of special people live there.
