Tonight I wore a polo shirt and a nice black skirt. Black flats, a wrong choice since my campus is VERY hilly.

mmcat,
What did I think? They are an awesome group of girls. They come from all sorts of backgrounds, and they "mesh" together very well. Was it all good? From what I remember, yes. However, I was fairly nervous, that's probably the worst thing. My feet survived with only one tiny blister. The best shoes for my campus are hiking boots (however, it gets everyone in shape!)

As of about 5:15 this afternoon, I have not heard anything. They didn't tell us what time they were letting us know. Of course, I'll let you know as soon I as I know!

Don't make me keep hitting refresh!

It is almost 1130p where she is---so I hope she is kicking it with her new sisters!

Quite honestly, I have no idea what's going on...
I don't know if they've passed out bids or not! Another girl down the hall from me was rushing as well, and she hadn't heard anything either.

However, I am assuming I did not make it into this group. But there's another group on campus who will be recruiting later this semester (from what I hear, at least.)

And there's always next semester!

Just a side note--I do wish my school had a formal rush.

Was this formal or informal recruitment? Just wondering cause if you did not get a bid, someone should have called

It was informal. VERY informal. It would have been really nice for someone to have called and let me know I did not get a bid, but there are only two sororities on my campus, and they both do rush at different times.

Just a sidenote- if anyone read my rush thread, I went to my last event on a Wed. and didn't get bid until that Monday. I went ALL weekend wracking my brain thinking I wasn't getting a bid. Sometimes chapters DO leave you hanging though- so hang in there, cuz you'll never know
