Kappa Theta here in St. Louis doesn't start until the 7th, but everyone wish us luck and keep fingers crossed through our workshops and such anyway. We need a strong class this year!
(Information night isn't until Friday, so we have no idea how many lovely ladies will be going through recruitment yet)

Kappa Theta update. 331 lovely ladies are going through recruitment this year. This is a HUGE number for SLU. However things are going fantasically. Tomorrow is our philanthropy night followed by skit, pref and bid day on Sunday. (We do 5,5,3,2,1 -number of chapters each pnm can visit each night)
We also had 2 boys signed up for sorority recruitment instead of fraternity Rush this year... to be fair, one's name was Kellie, the other's was Southeast Asian, and not identifiable as specifically male.

UNLV's recruitment has been cancelled until furthr notice due to the loss of a member of our greek community. Please pray for the UNLV chapter of Delta Zeta.
edited to add: this has been particularly hard on our chapter as we were in the same building in the room next door to Delta Zeta and watched everything happen (the other 3 sororities are in a different building) We have from 10-5 today to clear out all of our recruitment stuff and help clear out Delta Zeta's room.

Yet another Kappa Theta update:
We have 48 new members! Quota was 49 so we're CR-ing up to 52 (I guess it's more of a quota range?) And I think within 2 weeks we'll have all 52 new ladies!
This would make it our best recruitment since I've been here (and perhaps ever, we're quite young and I'm a senior) and the first time everyone won't be CR/COBing all year!
~Thoughts and prayers for UNLV
