incredibles is located down the hill from my apartment. it's a neighborhood bar where you can drink or not. it's got regular pool and poker tournies. it's been the home of birthday parties, baby showers and wakes. during football season, it's home of a dallas cowboy fan club. all purpose. plus you can drink on he cheap if you want to.

This is a very nice thread. I have deleted a sequence of posts that became personal.
Please, let's keep it civil.

Jess-
If you want yuppie-ish crowd, try Arthur's in Hyde Park (my personal fave, as I worked there for 2 years), or Habit's in Oakley (the resident ghost makes for some fun stories). Mt. Lookout Tavern and McMurphy's in Hyde Park/Oakley are usually still a little yuppie, but a younger crowd, and it's not as snotty as Mt. Adams. Christy's in Clifton is usually a place to be seen around UC.
I miss Cincy bars. I'm yet to find a *really* decent pub-type place in Dayton

My favorite bar ever is in the darling town of Morgantown WV. It's called Liquid Lounge. It's so trashy. Everyone is of age there. Even my 16 year old cousin. Best bar ever. It's the place we met Ass-Slap Guy. And the Hatian.

There's a bar in Oxford called Top Deck that I am currently obsessed with (due to the recommendation of my good friend mu_agd). It's 21 and up, so it's not packed with freshmen trying to get you to buy them a drink. It's pretty spacious and you can play pool and darts. It's also above another place, so you can sit by the huge window and make fun of people walking by. It's the best!

I completely agree. The bars in the town where I went to school were only allowed to serve beer. Sometimes a girl just needs a cosmo or martini.

My favorites:
the Barking Kudu (kinda yuppie-ish bar---good music, and fun to hang)
Bailey's--Irish Pub, great hanging with friends, playing pool, good live local bands
The Red Horse Tavern---goth/medieval vibe hangout----there's a guy there that plays the bagpipes!!

I swear we go there every time we go to Indy. That was where I discovered my bloody mary/Miller Lite love. I love Broad Ripple!
