Most memorable moment....

**On bid day when I found out the Rho Chi who I had developed a real bond with was a member of the chapter that I accepted my bid from.

My Most Memorable Moments of my New Member period:
-Receiving my bid
-Alpha Ceremony
-The night I realized my sisters would be there for me through anything (depressing story so I wont post it on this happy thread)... If for some reason you want to know pm me...
-Moving into the ADPi wing at 11pm, since they convinced me I should move in right at that moment...
-Scholarship brunch and introducing my dad to my sisters... My parents were in shock that I joined a sorority (my mom and sister where in different sororities but I am nothing like them), but that day when my dad met my sisters he understood why I was so happy...

Since I'm a bit older, and a man, these might seem somewhat different.

Standing behind a chair in jacket and tie at dinner at our first rush function waiting for the chapter president to escourt "Mom" (the house mother) to her seat at the head of the table -- then listening to the classic Delt songs sung following dinner.

Being asked into a side room during the second night and offered a bid. I originally had no intention of rushing, and was invited to the functions. I had no idea whatsoever this would happen -- and so quickly.

Ditching to Columbus so we wouldn't have to clean the house after a party (yes, there was hazing in those days) with my girlfriend, who was visiting that weekend, sitting on my lap in the back of a pladge brothers car. She was only 100 pounds, but I thought my legs would never move again after a two hour drive.

Finally, stealing underwear from my big brother and the pledge advisor and hanging them (with their names in magic marker) from the columns of the Chi-O house.

Of course, who could ever forget his/her initiation.
