A lot of my real close friends just call me Ki (like Key) for short...lol, they're too lazy to even say Kiki. And my best friend calls me Kikikins, and she's the ONLY one allowed to do that.

Most girls in our chapter go by last names, since everyone seems to be named Sara or Megan....
There's a girl in my chapter nicknamed "Keke"... I guess it was natural that she was to become a Kappa... with the golden key being one of our symbols!

I pretty much have Jess and jharb as nicknames. A few others but they aren't really appropriate for the general public.

Most of the girls in the house called me by my maiden name or Berg, which is the shortened form. I was also known as Kappa Kari because whenever anyone had questions about the house, they came to me.

Thanks to a drunk Clue party at Pi Kapps, I gained the name mushroomburger and one of my pledge sisters was dubbed muff (or chowder according to one guy). She's the only one allowed to reference that now, though.

Some fraternity nicknames I knew when I was in school:
Stretch
Roach
Butter
Teabag (yes, it's what you think it is)
Dong
Vinnie
Buddha
Boner
Opie
Couch
Crack
Big Red

i have a bunch of nicknames - i dont know why but...anyways my family calls me "missy", obviously because my name is melissa .. "mo", and "missles". when my nonnie was alive, she'd call me "queen elizabeth", or "queeny", because im the only child and was awfully spoiled

my sorority sisters call me "missles", or "bling" - because when i first pledged, i wore all of my gold and my timberlands and i was just soo "new york" for them. some of them even still call me "new york".. and .. i spilled jalapenos between my legs once because i was trying to hold them as we were driving .. and they dubbed me "spicy snatch" ... and of course ... "playa"

some sorority sisters nicknames:
wurmer; mama wurm; big wurm big sperm
boobzilla
queen liz - cuz she thinks shes the queen
j-diz
most of the girls go by their last names so....

some of the guys:
AC ... (his name is really adam sandler .... )
the godfather
giggles - this kids laugh is ridiculously funny
fat matt
boo radly - his name is bradley
huge - hes about 5' tall
phil-atio
DR / Drunk Rob

theres more but god... i should get SOME work done while at work

Mine is Divine Miss Em... One of my friends who loves Bette Midler (many people refer to her as Divine Miss M) gave me this nickname because he claims that I am a bit of a diva. And yes he is into show tunes if you catch my drift. Others of mine include
Em, E-M, MeMe, and Boo.

Haha yeah most people think it is my real name, but nope. K and I are the first two letters of my real name though so that's where it comes from.

well i certainly can't compete with red0282 with her chapters nick names even though we have a lot, I just can't think of them right now. i think it is funny that over the years you just acquire names for and from all your best friends. most of my friends and sorority sisters call me "B." Not the most creative and doesn't have a crazy story behind it, but it's fine with me!

Nicknames I have in my chapter:

*"Super Sigma" - I was voted Most Dedicated NM last year.

*"El Capitan"- Sometimes I can get a little too bossy esp.- when it comes to recruitment and important things.

My chapter tends to use last names or variations thereof as nicknames.

One example: our external social chair. Her last name is Folker. But, not everyone knew how to pronounce it and it became Focker, as in Meet the Parents.

An alum's last name is Addis. So everyone just started calling her Adidas. It stuck.

Also, I was a COR bid back in the day, and when I got my bid card, it said 'Records' as my last name instead of 'Record.' So some of the girls started calling me 'Records' as a nickname.

Another recent alum was always known as KWayne, much like Jess is called jharb.

I ended up with "Momma" or "Mama Ann" because I have a tendancy to take care of all of my sisters.. ntohing too exciting

One of my sisters has "Sharona" her name is Sharon.. I don't recall how she ended up with Sharona..

We have a "Weiner" .. her name is Janine. Yet another one that just came about.

Tina is either "Weinah" or "La presidente" (she's the pres.)

then we also have the lastname deal.. we have about 25 Beckys.

Well I think you all can guess my nickname/pledgename from my sorority. It is spelled with an-ey cuz the -ey was passed down through our family tree. My big is Scoobey and my grand-big is Mickey. (I think I've posted about this already in another thread though).

I was usually just called by my last name by sisters though.

Some of the alums call me "el Presidente" because that is my role right now in our AA.

When I was in undergrad, the giving of a nickname/pledgename by your big sister was a really sweet "ceremony", and special time. The new members (myself included) always used to try to guess what their "name" was going to be. I still have the paper with what my big made me with my nickname/pledgename.
