Different facts about ourselves

i'm the middle child. i have an older sister and a younger brother.

i had a sister born 13 months after me who died from s.i.d.s. she lived only a day.

my parents have been married 31 years so i know it works--it aint always easy but it works

i look mean and sometimes, i can be mean, but i'm a really nice person.

my stupid human trick is that i can fit my fist in my mouth

i lived in the same house all of my life until i left dallas for school in '98

i've visited MO, LA, CA, GA, FL, KY, TN, OH, AZ, and D.C.

i've flown on an airport twice--first, from dallas to houston for my freshman orientation. the second time is when i flew to d.c. for Delta Days

i flunked my driver's test 3 times and finally passed on the 4th try--all in the same week.

i've never learned to play a musical instrument other than a stereo

i didn't learn how to ride a bike until i was 11. i got my first bike when i was 7 or 8.

i didn't get my ears pierced until i was 20

i was born with an ear infection and no one knew for a very long time (they thought i had colick because i cried so much). to this day, i can't get water in my ears.

I LOVE the library. I can spend hours there each day and never get bored.
My brother is an Alpha.
My brother and I were both born on holiday weekends; Labor Day for him and Memorial Day for me.
I can't swim, but I love to sit near pools or on the beach.

I have visited: AL, AR, GA, TN, LA, FL, MI, OH, PA, TX, OK, IL, MO, MD, DC, VA, KY and MS.

I have about 300+ books in my collection, the biggest part of it is my collection of Sweet Valley High books as well as books from other popular teen series in the 80's and 90's. I love hunting for those at used book sales. I'm saving them for when I have a daughter.

My son's first word was Elmo.
My nephew's first word was SpongeBob.

I loved to read Amelia Bedelia, Ramona series, Curious George, Pippi Longstocking, Judy Blume, and Anastasia books as a kid. Every so often as an adult, I reread these books.

I love love and happily ever after and strong Black love.
I am a very giving person.

I am left handed.
I have extra fingers. I bit one off as a child so one is smaller than the other.

I love to laugh.
I am a big crybaby.

I was on tv once back in 1985.
I kissed my first boy in the first grade in Mrs. Buerker's music class under the desk.

The farthest west I have been is Louisiana. My last trip to Louisiana was a DOOZY!! I have also been to Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Canada, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee, and DC.

I've been in the back of a police car.
I was almost suspended once for cutting study hall my senior year in high school.

I dream of being famous.
I love to dance but hate line dancing and always feel awkward when it comes to stepping so I don't.

I love to talk.

I've never been off of the east coast...except for GA, and that doesn't count for much since it's only a state over.

My daddy is my homeboy, and we talk to each other as such. He gets on my nerves, and I will bench him just like any of my other male friends. After a while, we'll make up and start talking again. It's really weird.
I can pretty much make friends with anybody. Although more than one person that I'm cool with now said they didn't like me when they first met me.
I don't KNOW of any enemies that I have.

I love football, basketball, and in a distant third...baseball.

I plan to ride a Cable Car in San Francisco down the hill from Grace Cathedral to my wedding reception in a hotel, with my whole wedding party and family.

I had a college roommate bring home two guys, and one ended up murdering the other one

I won't eat any onions, unless they are in ring form and deep fried.

Me too!!! I didn't get my license until I was 19. I actually hit a car on my 3rd attempt.

I have also been handcuffed and in the back of a police car....but never arrested (long, long, story )

I still have my collection of The Babysitter's club books.

I read books 1-5 of the Harry Potter series in 2 weeks.

Before I start, I must say that this gives hope to me. I will be 18 Thursday and I still do not have my license. Not because I failed the test, but because noone is taking the time to teach me. But, as soon as I get a job, I will be paying for my own driver's lessons. Anyhoo...

I like being semi-independent
