She is a splitting image of Beyonce. What's the scoop about her?

She is Beyonce's little sister. She has been a dancer for Beyonce and dem and she filled in when Kelly got hurt taking over Kelly's singing duties. She is supposedly putting out an album on her daddy's label Music World Music. He has put them kids to work fo sho! (did someone in a previous post call him a pimp?)

I called him pimp girl! Cause I think he is pimpin his children. I'm sorry, but let kids be kids! I also think Ms.Norwood pimped her kids also. I remember when she said in a VIBE article bragging about how she could sell her kids to anybody(Brandy and Ray-J mama)

Okay, so I'm 19 and I watch the Disney Channel. ANYWAY...

I was watching and there was a commercial advertising a new show coming on this fall called "The Proud Family." Solange Knowles sings the theme song, with help of course, from DC. They showed them in the studio, and what shocked me is that Solange sounds about a million times better than Beyoncé!! Not great, mind you, but better that Beyoncé. I don't know if it was just me, but I was like.. dayum! Anybody else seen this?

RETRACTED STATEMENTS

Had to bring this thread to the top....

I am hereby retracting MOST of my hatin' comments about Beyonce. I went out a got her CD yesterday and quite frankly, girlfriend truly is putting it down! The CD is excellent. Baby Boy and Crazy in Love are my JAMS. She has a duet with Luther Vandross on there that took me back.

The only comment that I cannot retract is about her weave. I realize that she wears a weave to avoid the constant styling stress to her natural hair. Her natural hair is really quite nice. I just wish she would stay away from the "horse-hair" weave look.

Other than that, I have to say that this is one hard-working, determined sister. She's been that way since she was a young girl and at her age, her determination and drive has paid off. This sista is paid. Plus, she really can sing and write her own music.

So, enough said...I can't believe the day has come when I can actually say this, but I have to give credit where it's due.

I have to agree with you 100%.....I really like her CD as well. one of my FAV songs is *Speechless* Homegirl has some SERIOUS skills. I also LOVE the tribute to her daddy!!!! I never hated on her before, cause I always thought she could blow. I really didn't care too much for her attitude when they were going through the DC drama........But honestly,,,I feel that Destiny's child would not be where they're at without Beyonce'. I was just Disappointed when I found out she was with Jay Z....I thought she had more class than that, but that’s just my HO

I have to agree with what you said. Beyonce is one HARD working woman. BTW, today is her 22nd birthday.

As usual, Prayerfull you are on point (don't you hate it sometimes when other people are right and you don't want to admit it! )..I have been feeling like this lately also. I must retract some of my Beyonce-hating comments (notice, I said "SOME", LOL), as I have always believed that she is talented and can sing (she still hasn't proved to me that she can act though), and her public speaking skills have improved also (but they need further improvement)...BUT, as Prayerfull stated, she needs to find a better weave haristyle...b/c the ones she wears now are SO NOT kickin' it!!!! It's like she tries to look white (I saw her on the cover of Star or some tabloid mag in the store while I was waiting in line, and boy, did she look almost white!) and clearly she is not...

I like Beyonce but it looks like she really struggles with her weight and you all know she'd balloon up if she didn't have the money for a personal trainer.

What makes you say that Rudey? I think she does a great job maintaining her weight. and wouldn't we all be little if we could afford a personal trainer to keep us in check?!

I have to give it to Beyonce too, because she's doing it all: she's writing her own music, singing it, performing it (she does a great job dancing, unlike ASHANTI!), she's acting, in commercials, etc. She's doing everything and I am proud of her. And I am feeling Baby Boy too! That song is NICE!

Holla...

Sorry..

but I'm still not feel that child.!!!

I still think there is something very very fake about her. I can't put my finger on it. I'm just not there with her. I've never doughted her singing or writing ability, but the rest...I don't know..she just rubs me the wrong way.
