Boule 2002
Hello Sorors and other Greekchat members,
Can anyone tell me where the Boule will be in 2002? I keep getting a lot of different responses from different sorors old and new.

Boule 2002
Skee-Wee! Soror
The 2002 Boule will be held in Orlando, Florida, from what an article I've read in the Ivy Leaf Summer 2001 stated. I'm saving already for my FIRST Boule (with the assistance of my parents) I'm so excited.

I am planning on being at Boule 2002. I am about to put the deposit down on the airfare. All I need now is some good cheap hotel accomedations. Being an undergrad AKA takes a toll on the pockets. o if anyone knows any good info let a soror know!

Undergraduate Member At Large
Does anyone know what happens to the Undergraduate Member at Large if she graduates before her term is up? I am thinking of submitting my credentials to run at the next Boule, but I graduate May '03, a full year before the end of the term.
All I have found out is that the undergraduate member on the International Nominating Committee may maintain her position if she graduates mid-term, but I am not sure if the same is true for UML.
Please respond if you know, credentials are due Dec. 15.
So this post is also a sisterly reminder, if you want to run for Regional/National office credentials are due Dec. 15!
Thanks!

Next year, the Great Lakes Regional Conference will be hosted by MY initiating chapter, ZAQ (and Alpha Lambda), in Toledo, Ohio!!!! So I will DEFINITELY be there!!! Not to mention, I wonder when the dates are, because our 50th anniversary is right around Regionals time.

Many hotels are along International Drive (from my understanding) therefore, when seeking a hotel (thinking about your dollars) just ask for International Drive. Weren't we discussing trying to ...?

I'm saving ALL my pennies because I will definitely be attending my FIRST boule as an Alllpha Kappa Alllpha Woman summer 2002- Florida here I come!!!!! I am soooooo excited. I live in NC, so Florida's not that bad of a drive (I'm too chicken to fly). BUT I'll be there if I have to rollerskate!! I can't wait to meet all of you.
As a side note, I was reading the PinknGreen.com website (which isn't up and running yet) and it was noted that the "hotels for the 60th Boule are the Rosen Center, Rosen Plaza and the Wyndham on International Drive." The editor, (who by the way is so sweet) also stated that Nationals "has a contract with these hotels and must honor the room block" and that Nationals "requests that sorors book ONLY at those hotels." Just thought I'd past that little tidbit along. I don't know anything about prices though.
Sisterly
Skeeeeeeee-Weeeeeeeeee My Sorors!!!!!!!

Hotel Rates
Have the 'Alpha Kappa Alpha' rates for the Boule' hotels been released? Just wondering. I'll make my reservations at the beginning of the year.
Skee ya at Boule' Sorors!

Just bringing this to the top!
Happy New Year, Sorors! I hope all those who were making plans to attend this year's Boule are still doing so, and I hope all of our new sorors are as well.
Who's volunteering to coordinate the GC gathering? I'm willing to work in concert with other sorors on this.
Anyone bringing their honeydos? Mine is coming and will be needing something to do, so let me know.
