As to whether or not you should keep trying with the sheep, I would say to let it go. One of two things has happened with this group.
1. They liked you, but don't have enough open spaces to offer you a bid.
2. For whatever reason, they don't think you are a good fit with their chapter.
Which ever reason it is that they didn't give you a bid last night, its unlikely that it will change this week. What you do have is bids from 2 houses that you liked and were comfortable at, who liked you enough to ask you to be their sister.

Excellent advice BetaRose. lil_princess, I would definetly say let go of the group you liked the most and take a good look at the ones you recieved bids from, especially the two where you were comfortable.
I've seen so many women in this situation, and 99% of the time, if they're open minded and accept the bid to their second choice sorority, they still end up absolutely loving it more than anything, and later on looking back at their rush experience and thinking "maybe I wouldn't have been such a good fit for sheep after all..."
I am so happy for you that, even though you're a little disappointed, you still have so many choices!! Congrats and keep us posted!

3 bids is wonderful! Congrats on that.
BetaRose gives good advice...focus on the three that gave you the bids...you do have some great choices!

Well, I've made one decision so far: I declined my bid to the Chickens. I didn't really get that much information about them, and therefore, I had nothing to base my opionions on. So, now it's the Pigs and the Cows, possibly can still do COB with the sheep, waiting for the answer on that one. I'm going to a COB party(even though I already was offered a bid) tonight with the Cows. So, maybe I can get a little more time with them and really get to know the girls!

Good for you, atleast you know who you do not want to be with, and who knows maybe sheep may now have room for you.
I am glad you are giving the other two a chance.

Did your next night go well with the Pigs? I had the impression that you weren't too interested in them from your first impression.

Yes, last night we played games at the pig house, it really helped break the ice and it was really laid back. It was fun, but I'm still unsure. There were a few girls that just talked and talked and talked about everything and so they were pretty cool, and I learned so much about them. I'm trying to go to as much as possible with the remaining houses, to get a better feel of what they are about.

Ok, I know the house that you liked the most (and I know what one it was) did not extend a bid. That sucks.
HOWEVER, you got 3 bids. One you knew you would not feel at home with...you declined...that is all good. You have the upper hand here!
But you have 2 that you like and that really want you. I would weigh the pros and cons of the 2 groups that you like and take it and run with it. Who knows, maybe it happened for a reason. The grass is not always greener. You might pick one of these groups and later say "why was I trippin' over the group that didn't extend me a bid?"
Also, I am not going to try to guess what houses were which. If anyone does it, I would suggest it be done by PM. Because if you say something that can be construed "bad" about a GLO, it will come bite you in the butt later!
Good luck sweetie and we can't wait to hear where your home is.
Sorry if I sound spacey...I need caffeine!
Edited for spelling errors

I couldn't agree more. A pro/con list is the ONLY way to go. I do them for EVERYTHING. Yes, I've even used one on a relationship once (THAT should have been a clue right there....lol).
Way to go though!

Ok, I've done the whole pros and cons thing and they ARE still EQUAL!! I went to a COB party last night to see if that would make any difference in my decision. Now I have to get together with the other one to see how they interact with me and others outside of the 'rush' scene! We will see... I mean I do have one whole academic calendar year to sign the bid... although, I would really hate to leave them hanging like that, I'm just not sure what I need to do! Now I'm more stressed out than EVER!

Do you have a neutral, objective friend to talk to? I think that would help

Well, I have some bad news. A very dear friend of mine has been sick for a while, and has slowly gotten worse. She isn't expected to get any better and was given about 3 months! It absolutely devasted me to find this out and to realize that we don't have much time left together. I've decided to wait until Fall to start my new member period with a sorority, and spend most of my time with her. I know you guys really wanted to know who I would choose, but right now, this has to come first.
Thank you guys for all of your support!
