The elephant is not an official symbol of DST, which is what he uses on that book cover.

HK, at first glance, nothing on the cover for the unauthorized Alpha Kappa Alpha book makes me think that a claim could be brought for trademark or trade dress infringement. Also, in order to commit copyright infringement, he'd have to copy something that is copyrighted (like a passage from some other text, etc.).
