I was the only student picked to represent my grad school in the city spelling bee when I was in 3rd grade...

I was in the audience of a Jerry Springer show and when it aired I was sitting in the perfect spot where you could see me and my friends the whole show....for months after it aired, people would come up to us and say "Jerry! Jerry! Jerry!" I hated that.

I was a Wheel of Fortune contestant in December 2002 and then had a picture of my painted face (big maple leaf) printed in a bunch of newspapers after Vancouver was awarded the 2010 Winter Olympics in July 2003.

Guess they are not used to seeing Canadians paint their faces for something other than hockey
