I considered getting involved when KD was colonizing, but then I decided to transfer to ASU West and didn't think I'd have time for everything. It sounds like a great group. What sort of numbers do you women have there?
And DZ is coming on-board too?!? Wow.
I thought I heard something about ZTA drumming up an interest group, but that was only once.
Glad to see greek life at ASU blossoming again. I wish I had been able to get more involved with it when I was on main campus.

I know this is a thread about making plans to meet (and I'd be on board if I had been on here longer, but I just joined last week!), but I just wanted to let you know that SAEPi is now an official at ASU. They were recently initiated as the Alpha chapter of SAEPi.

Sigmajovi,
You should still join us.
A girl in my PHY101 class is a SAEPi. She was wearing a so cute shirt.
Congratulations on the starting of the chapter.
Again, you should still join us November 1st 12-12:30 at PF Changs.

Yah, we've got some cute shirts.
And thanks for the invite! As long as I have nothing planned (which I'm pretty sure I don't), I'll be there!

Since I haven't posted here long and don't know anyone, maybe we could introduce ourselves before we all meet? You guys can PM or email me if you don't want to post it all on here. I'll start, since it's my bright idea.
Although SigmaJovi is what I consider to be one of my cutest screen names (hehe), my name is Farrah. Sigma=Sigma AEPi, which I was originally supposed to be a charter member in, but am now a pledge. Jovi=Bon Jovi. I go to ASU, Journalism major, 4th year (pledging late, I know....), and I'm still not used to this whole Greek life thing (I was anti-Greek my whole life, having gone through rush twice at two different schools before finally becoming a pledge the third time). I am keeping an open mind however, and hopefully after this weekend (a Sigma-filled weekend as I call it), I will be used to it a little more!
I think that's about it! I'm always up for answering questions, too.

Farrah,
What a wonderful idea.
My name is Brianna. I was initiated at the University of Arizona in the spring of 98. I left the university after the semester and went to community college, I finally transferred to ASU in the spring of 2000. I recently graduated with a BA History in December 2002. I am actually at ASU this semester, I was going to get a BS Biology, but now I have decided against it. I am instead going to start my teaching certification through Rio Salado during winter break.
As for my 'greekness', I went alumna instead of affiliating. As I mentioned I went through spring rush. What is funny was the fact that when I went to U of A I had every intention of rushing, but I intended to rush Chi-O because one of my close friends is one. I went to ADPi with a girl I had met at the informal rush meeting and I never left. It was the best decision I have ever made. I love my sisters and I love my sorority.

My name is Rachel and I am a transfer student from USC. I was a member of ALpha Gamma Gamma, a local jewish sorority at SC. I transferred to ASU in the fall of 2003 after almost two years involved in AGG (I took off last semester towards the end due to medical problems). I got to ASU, rushed, and am currently a pledge of Kappa Delta.

Rachel, is there a girl named Jennie Greenband in KD? I'm pretty sure that's what sorority she's in.

I can't wait to meet all of you women! You sound great.
Maybe I'll get inspired to try out some of the great new houses and see about going greek for real this time!

It seems like we've got a lot of reps from a lot of sororities on the ASU campus. When we're at lunch we should totally talk about getting all of our groups together for some huge party or dinner or movie night or formal or something. Wouldn't that be something..like 500 girls in a room? Now that's "sincere sisterhood"!! I know that our sister sorority is Pi Phi and we do stuff with them, but I think it'd be cool to get everyone together. Just a thought from a mere little pledge!

Unfortunately I am going to have to decline. On top of sorority stuff that weekend, I am going to have family in town. Sorry guys.... I am very bummed. Maybe some other time.
