haha, when we were pledging we'd haze each other, like someone would come into our base and wed be like " oh man the squiremasters just called and they want you to go do this right away etc" and then we'd all laugh... god i miss pledging

Robbie totally has short man syndrome. Calm down, buddy. You take yourself waaaaaaaaaay too seriously.
Also, Kevin looks like a crazy cartoon character when his hair's all big (like it was during Rush), but I noticed tonight he has really pretty eyes... when he was doing confessionals I couldn't believe it was the same kid!
With Keldon not getting a bid I think my favorite pledge is Jon... he seems so happy and good-natured.
What was up with Slater bringing a girl to a pledge meeting... that was strange.

OMG Marty was the man, my favorite qoute from tonight was "You are so getting fucked tonight" hahahaha what a stud. Keldon didnt get a bid which was kinda sad, but as they said if he really wants it he will be back next semester, and if one of the brothers explains it to him straight forward like it is he should be back if he wants it. That jon guy was pissing me off though, i understand that Robbie kinda takes himself too seriously, but seriously i can totally understand being in a position where you want to get shit done so you can have fun and all your pledge bros are being retards. Seriously sometimes someone has to take charge and take care of shit, and sometimes when people are being dumb you have to be a dick to get things accomplished. I'm actually glad that he stood his ground and led the group the best he could. Jon needs to grow up and learn the proper place to be an assclown and the proper place to shut the fuck up and work. Pledging isnt, nor should it be all fun and games.

delta beach
-im just curious...what did everyone else think of "delta beach"???
-i thought it was awesome to have the delta made outta fire...it looked so pretty...heh. i dunno, i just think if i were a pledge and were blindfolded and when i took the blindfold off and saw that...i think it would be awesome! im tempted to go try haha j/k.
-also, what was slater or whoever thinkin when he brought a chick to a PLEDGE meeting...is that even allowed? at least ask her to politely sit somewhere else while you discuss business...i didnt agree with that at all.

Delta beach was awesome, we do somthing similar except we make our pledges stomp it out after... hehe
Slater was a fucking retard, he should get his ass kicked
And after rewatching the episode from last night (taped it for my gf) I have come to two conclusions. One is that I could have never ever ever ever pledged with someone like Jon because I would have killed him. and two is that the actives all seem way too nice to the pledges, i mean what the hell are they doing partying together on the first real day of pledging? are they insane? thats like the best time to get some good ole fashion hazing in !

ok, so first of all, I love how the DOC boys give their new pledges 24 hours to "strongly consider the serious decision they are about to make"... then throw them a cocktail night to celebrate the end of rush. Hmmmm, well I know I make my best decisions after a long night of boozing it up, so this is DEFINITELY the wisest choice
and what's up with these girls that go to these parties???? In the first episode they called the DOC boys "fun.... and dreamy", and this time around they skank themselves up and have sex in the bathrooms. Ok, speaking for myself, if I woke up with Marty the one man Party next to me... I'd pull a coyote ugly and chew my arm off.
But on a positive note, I did like the whole Delta beach thing, and what it represented.
Well... 1 postive thing outta 3 aint bad boys, keep up the good work...

So far of the brothers I really like Matt and Casey, they seem to be good brothers who really care about the brotherhood. It was funny how Mariano (think that's his name) was like, I don't want Keldon in my fraternity, is that good enough? (the way he said it).

The funny thing is that these are the two accused koi-killers. It's such a difficult dichotomy: the two cutest, most involved brothers are also apparently a little TOO involved.

Ah, didn't know that! I don't like them though because I think they're cute... I only think Matt has nice eyes, but I liked them because yeah they seemed really involved.

Much improved
We've only seen two half-hours, but I already think this is better than the last season.
Of course, when the pledges start living together, fireworks may start.
I am already black balling the big guy who thinks he has a right to disrupt the meeting if he thinks "it's fun".

Wow finally a thread that that resembles an actual conversation rather than a bitchfest. I'll give you all a little insight in hopes of maybe clearing the air.
Imagine your impression of DOC if you had never read about a Koi. You wouldn't really have one. The newspapers have destroyed DOC's reputation, including my own and Matt's, before anyone really knew us. I am happy with the show so far because everyone expected some huge explosion of stupidity. Don't get me wrong, we do some incredibly stupid stuff, but through it all there IS something more to that. All I ask of anyone is that you don't judge my guys based on what you've read in the newspapers.. it's f*cking crap.
Isn't it convenient that a Fraternity with national exposure gets so damaged by an administration that hates greeks?
Funny how the administration was willing to flat out LIE and say I confessed and everything was handled days before a friggin riot. I've done some stupid things in my life, but I'm not THAT stupid.
As for the hazing.. funny how we don't have to worry about that while we're temporarily off campus. (Yes temporary.. we've already begun talks to get back on campus... you don't read that in the papers. Why? Damage control) UCSC doesn't even believe we are involved anymore. Retractions don't make headlines.
If you know your administration is going to boot you for making a pledge wear a pledge pin, you might as well get it out of the way before they get the satisfaction.
Lastly, if everyone wants to spend all this effort prosecuting a trial against me that *cannot* be won, they aren't doing a whole lot of other investigating. They are so blinded by their bias that they just plow on.
Look.. we may be 'stupid fratboys', 'ass monkeys' ,'surfers', or whatever you want to call us.. but we are college educated. You don't go on national television without some sort of a planning. The only reason we look so bad is because the school has been the only people feeding the press and their sole intent is to appease their anti-Greek students.
I'll be right here talking sh*t with you guys when we look stupid. (Like the 13th pin.. WTF was that? But ya know, thats life) I just don't want anything to be manufactured, and so far it has been the media manufacturing the truth, not MTV.
Casey
