Huh?

Me? I do freaky things while thinking of the Olsen twins? Is that meant to mean I indulge in impure acts?? Ick! That's not true

I can tell you that that is true of most celebrities. For articles on them they'll usually have had some contractual clause allowing them to scrub the whole article if they decide they 'don't like it' and if the magazine doesn't like that clause they don't get their interview. And final say on merchandising etc doesn't seem out of the ordinary given what trashy items people could come up with otherwise.

Hmm... I can't help think that that's to appeal to male readership! Look at TaTu for a similar theme. It's likely the girls wouldn't have cared the photographer asked them to adopt that pose, they ARE sisters after all and I don't think it's likely they're actually having an incestuous lesbian relationship

!!! Plus the age of consent is different in Europe that the continental United States but that's another topic. And they're only sitting next to each other on a couch for goodness sake.

Well let's hope not! They were only 8 years old around that time weren't they?? Having enough business acumen to make complex business decisions would b expecting a teensy bit much

And anyway, everyone in Hollywood has an agent.

At some point along the line you just realize that they have completely become their marketed persona. They don't have personalities aside from what the media sells them as. Have you ever read an interview with these girls? If so, you'd see what I mean.

I disagree. Surely what you're meanning is they don't have don't
overtly express widely differing personalities aside from what the media sells them as? Again coming back to their being astute businesswomen. I think it's unfair to say they're odious vapid individuals purely because they deliberately portray a particular image. Doesn't mean they're any particular way in their private lives
off camera. Personally given the sex and drugs which a lot of celebrities their age get into, they deserve a little kudos for maintaining a fairly wholesome image. More power to them.
