You all better get your thoughts in fast, because this is what is going to happen once one of the trio sees these threads.

good call let show we are better people than that. Most republicans a great people, so what we don't agree on things, thats life. We can still all live together in peace as Americans. Most people don't even take it that seriously. Look at Carville ad Matlen (sp?) they are die hard for their resepctive group but yet are married and love ech other greatly.

I think it's funny how on some other threads, people are bashing *ALL* Democrats and using phrases like "YOU PEOPLE". Like if ONE poster says something they disagree with it is all, "see? That's how Democrats are!"

Ironic.

Personally, there are Republican policies I don't care for and there are Democratic policies I don't care for. There are members of the Republican party I don't care for and members of the Democratic party I don't care for. To be honest, politics/politicians as a whole just suck to me.

But it is something we have to live with and luckily in this country we can be opinionated about it. But heaven forbid if we come on GC to express those opinons! Whoo!

BTW, AGDiva, you are pretty cool to me too...FOR A REPUBLICAN.

In the born in the East, schooled at Andover, Harvard, and Yale sort of way.

361 time studying abroad looks better everytime W talks - I don't like faith-based initiatives at all.

um, in the he-calls-Texas-home-b/c-he-lived-there-for-HOW-long-and-was-governor-for-HOW-long sort of way.... please, i was raised in Alabama, but have lived in Kentucky for long enough now to be classified a Kentuckian.....give me a break.

it's like, impossible to be light-hearted on here today.....what's the deal with that? and if you meant to be light-hearted (as is very well the case b/c this is the internet and it's so hard to read ppl's posts accurately sometimes), i apologize....but there was no need for the "361 times studying abroad...." comment b/c that only emphasizes ppl saying, "well if you don't like it, LEAVE" and then the other ppl get mad, and then everyone gets testy, and then b/4 you know it...BAM. locked thread.

originally i thought GP was bein nit-picky about dubya's "home"....now i'm wondering if i am doing the same thing....lol.

[/defensive yet light-hearted rant]

I'm a Democrat, I am ashamed of the way the leaders of our country (that I was too young to vote) are acting, and I would like to leave, so as soon as we stop taxing the Hell out of the middle class, maybe I can afford to go study abroad.

I wish that people, some much much more than others, would have just let the Democrats have their own thread. Betarulz! started this thread to let fellow Dems know about an online poll, and it turned into Normandy part deux. If I saw this thread about Republicans, I would have stayed out, or only jumped in if I had something intelligent to bring to the conversation.

This should be locked.
