I have three interviews this week, one by telephone?
I need prayer?
I need one or two of these interviews to lead to a job WITH Benefits?

I'm going to the beach to meet the bf's family?

I'm nervous as heck even though we hung out with them up here this weekend?
I'm meeting his family in August and I"m even more nervous about that!!!?

I hope Ideal08 has a great time in the Motherland!!

this weekend was our chapter's anniversary?
everything went well?
Saturday's event was very nice?
on Sunday, we went to church?
after receiving the words of the priest and hearing great music from the choir?
we congregate outside to take pictures?
we completed that task?
when we were leaving a member of a certain organization makes a derogatory comment regarding "those AKAs"?
1. we had JUST gotten out of church?
-not a step show? not in front of the union? (still is no excuse)
2. we were still on the church grounds?
3. did you NOT learn ANYTHING from the sermon delivered?
4. WTF?
5. Aren't you TOO OLD to be caught up in BS?

my sorors and I passed right by her?
we looked at her like we were crazier than foxes?
we shook our heads?
we mentioned that we had just gotten out of church?
I'm sure she felt like a sucker around her friends or family?
on second thought, she probably didn't?
the devil (male or female) can be found all over?
I feel sorry for the members of not said organization?
we left and enjoyed a great brunch?

HC at my school, it seems like nobody eats red meat?
HC it seems like every girl I meet has stopped eating red meat?
HC it has become the latest trend, like drawstring capri pants?
HC every time I ask someone why they don't eat red meat they always come up with some lame, BS answer?
HC it's always something like "I wanted to live a healthy lifestyle"?
HC red meat and a healthy lifestyle are not mutually exclusive?
HC if you have replaced cheeseburgers with fried chicken, your lifestyle is not any healthier?
HC when I ask these people who so desperately crave a healthy lifestyle if they exercise, the answer is always "no" or "I'm too busy"?

HC I had two interviews today.

HC for the first one, the chick gave me the wrong directions, and when I called to get the right one, NO ONE ANSWERED THE FREAKING PHONE

AND THERE WAS NO VOICEMAIL

?!!! (note to self: dont work there)

HC the second interview went very well, thank you!

I'll know if I have a second interview in about 10 days.

HC when I got home, I had a phone call from the premier organization in my field!!

HC I have an interview on THURSDAY!! This would be perfect to get this job b/c its near where I used to work, and I can get my daily candy (sour strawberry strips) again, plus there is a Vickies nearby too...

I'm here.. couldn't get into my email. but wanted everyone to know i was safe. i am loving it so far... met with a nonprofit called Save the Children today in Addis Ababa (capitol). about to leave the sheraton (most expensive and elaborate hotel in all of africa, owned by a sheik. general tommy franks is staying here. hmph. we came for lunch, we are NOT staying here!!) and head further south (thru the great rift valley!!) to another non profit called Project Mercy. very excited. this expensive ass hotel is surrounded by shacks yall, no lie. it's a trip. wait til yall see the pictures. i've seen one traffic light the entire time i've been here (not even 24 hrs, lol). they drive crazy as hell, but i love it!! i have to go, i'll write more later!
