• Along with husband Dale, first husband and wife couple to be admitted to the Wisconsin bar
• In 1956, 1st woman and 1st Black Alderman
• 1st woman judge in Milwaukee and 1st Black judge in Wisconsin
• 1978, because first woman and first Black elected as Secretary of State

Benita Fitzgerald Mosley is the second American, after Babe Didrickson, and the FIRST & only African-American woman to win an Olympic gold medal in the 100-meter hurdles. (I like finding out info about the lesser known sorors )
