But, like most of us here, I live the statement "not four years, but for life"....

Kappa Sigma has initiated full-time college students as old as in their 70s, and it is not uncommon to have special initiation requests to our Supreme Executive Council for Founders legacies (even if they were not initiated in college) or for chapter advisors or consultants that have been extremely close.

Sigma Alpha Epsilon has a song:
"I'm Phi Alpha born, and I'm Phi Alpha bred, and when I die I'll be Phi Alpha dead."
I think that pretty much sums it all up...

I would say I was "greek" in a sense when I was in high school. I was on the dance team and I had a certain bond of sisterhood, and I knew that I wanted to be in a sorority when I went to college.
With that being said, I'm pretty sure I'll continue to seek out and enjoy the sisterhood of Delta Gamma for the rest of my life.

I pledged when I was 19, and I will graduate this year. I will always cherish my memories with Chi Omega, and hope that I find great friendships within it outside Unviersity walls as well.

I pledged at 19 and I hope to still be an active alumni when I am old and gray. Even though we are local, we have alumni and even founders that are still in contact with us and still help us out when we need them. I can only hope to be one of the alumni that helps out whenever possible and keeps in contact with the actives for as long as possible.

well....
I pledged at 19.....
My sisters and I already have plans to be the fun, crazy, grey-haired old women at founders day, but i'll have to go one step further and quote.....
"Delta gam born and Delta gamn bred, and when I die, I'll be Delta Gam dead, so rah rah for DG rah rah for DG rah rah for good old Delta G"

Pledged at 19, initated at 20, a sister forever and a day, no matter if the chapter is Sigma Omega or eternal. Bury me with my red rose and my wreath of laurels, my badge over my heart, for music and honor are constants in this world and the next.
