You know i was getting ready to head out to work the other morning and i had the TV news on and they had a report about Mr Rogers and i always LOVED watching him ( seemed so much like my granddad) so gentle and kind and WONDERFUL then i heard he died. I started to actually cry as they ran a tribute of him. Now i am 34 and i have a 3 yr old little boy and one of the earlier post ask if any other children now lnew who he is and my 3 yr old defintely knows Mister Rogers and loves him.
We lost a national treasure when he died. Such a kind gentle soul who will be soarly missed and forever remembered.
I am presbyterian and it was so sweet this morning in church my own pastor was openly talking about him on how he grew up watching him and eventually meeting him at a conference for Presbyterian ministers. No matter how old or young you are your never to get tired of Mr rogers.
God Bless this country and God Bless Mister Rogers.
A very sad Alpha Phi ,
