Yeah last week they were top ten teams, now they are top twenty five, let's see how low they go!. By the way big east powerhouses Miami and Virginia Tech will smash ANY team in the PIG PEN!!
|
Man you must be outta yo mind! Miami got into the "big east" because they thought-just like florida st-that they would easily win the conference championship annually. It was a good gamble; yet they are not dominating like they thought they would. The only teams in that conference are them and west virginia; and wv is having a down year. Even NorthWestern(Big 10) would challenge BOTH of those teams for the conference championship!
KEEP YOUR EYES ON THE MAIZE AND BLUE!!!!!!!

Uh, newsflash! Miami and WV are not the only quality teams in the Big East. VA Tech (GO HOKIES!) is a member of the Big East, and they are the reigning Conference Champs, and have been keeping hold of that title for quite a while. Miami hasn't beaten VA Tech in 6 years and they aren't going to start this year!
And NorthWestern is a joke! They got smacked around by TCU. (TCU is better this year, but they aren't a powerhouse by any stretch of the imagination.)

Sorry 'bout that omission, ZetaAce! The Hokies are the best thing(now)in that sorry-as-hell conference! Northwestern is the sorriest in the Big Ten; yet they would RULE the big east, and all knowledgeable fans would know that!

My thoughts exactly! Original Ape, did you see the UofM v. Illini game? What did you think about those fumbles? I was on pins and needles! But what a comeback by UofM! It was a great game! I was SO glad Carr took Epstein out! What is his problem this year? Now, he's kicked much further in the past than what he has been attempting to this season and he just can't get it together! Oh and speaking of making a change...GO DREW! Man, I was TOO happy Carr put him in. Did you see when they were talking w/ Carr right at the half? The reporter asked Carr who was starting QB and he had one word, "Henson." I was like THANK GOD! We play Wisconsin this weekend. Should be a win, whaddya think?

Both of those fumble calls were foul, and the Big Ten has apologized to Illinois because of them. That's pretty darn sad.
I think Michigan will beat Wisconsin this weekend. Wisconsin has to be one of the most overrated teams ever!

I think the ref blew two calls on the fumble(s)-and the first one was the most costly. Had they corrected that call, we would've lost. They had a chance to right a wrong on the very next fumble, but they didn't. We were very lucky. But that's a classic case of Poetic justice. We should've beaten ucla by ten pts., but that dumb-ass freshman threw that dumb-assed pass after the kicker missed what would've been the game-tying field goal. Michigan so far this year is the most underachieving team in the nation. They clearly are at least the nation's third best team; yet they can't get the right people to do the right things.
But they're STILL my team.

I think the SEC brings the funk. Alabama is my favorite, but they have not started out with a good season. We shall overcome. I do have to give out much love for Auburn. I am an alumni, so I must support them.

Dam! I'm so sick and tired of my team playin' like.....! I still think they can play with anybody, but they aint lookin' so good heah lately. At least they're playing some good teams, and good enough to win the close ones! Teams like Florida st., Nebraska, and Virginia Tech give up ALOT of points to sorry teams!

Original Ape-
We might give up points to sorry teams, but at least we beat them!! lol GO HOKIES!!
Seriously though, with the system that is in place now, (the BcS) it is whether you win or lose that matters. Strength of schedule is a factor in the final standings, but not a huge factor.
Nebraska gave up 492 yards of total offense to Missouri (90th ranked offense) this weekend. I won't comment on FSU because they played Maryland. VA Tech only gave up 273 yards of total offense to Boston College this weekend. (And BC has the 8th ranked offense) They were lucky to score off of some stupid VA Tech mistakes. Being a devout Hokie, I can tell you that VA Tech did not play it's best game on Saturday and could have done a lot better. But they still won, and like I said earlier, that's what matters in the end.
And Michael Vick is just WHOA.

Ok, I felt like I could've coached the Wolverines on Saturday. I didn't see the game but I was keeping up w/ the score on ESPN. I was about to break the computer! Ok, Wisconsin....who are they?! I was like "if we lose to Wisconsin of ALL teams!..." That was the worst game and Henson was at QB! Navarre..ok, I would have expected us to play like crap, but Henson?! Um, no. I didn't get a chance to see the highlights. But I didn't need to from looking at the scores. I mean, was Wisconsin's defense the bomb or something?! I was confused. I was just disappointed. We gotta get it together! There is NO way we can continue to play like this when Ohio St. and Mich. St. come up. We'll be dead! And Northwestern is trying to creep on up too! Oh heck naw, we've gotta do something. I think I need to go to the practices and help them brothas out!
