They had a sorority theme tonight on PSI Factor: Chronicles of the Paranormal.
The "evil sorority" was Psi Beta Sigma and there was a fraternity boy who was from Alpha Lambda.

The evil sorority had to sacrifice a virgin (no less) for their demon-woman, who fed on the life force. Well, the virgin ended up being a virgin Alpha Lambda guy, but of course he was saved in the nick of time.

Oh, and I forgot to mention that for the 3 years previous, a freshman always went missing in the last week of Rush at that fictititious college. Hmmm....and the authorities didn't seem to notice?

Hahahaha, I watched that same show last night, it was so stupid but there wasn't anything else on, and I was waiting to go to the video store. My mum was watching it with me, and she was like, "are these sorority girls? Are they pledges? What's going on?" And I was thinking, oh my god, why is my mother asking stupid questions. Oh where do they come up with these story lines? I seriously think my mother was thinking these is how we rush PNM's.

OK, no one has even guessed at these two yet. GNP was the fraternity profiled by the movie Fraternity Row (produced and directed by a LXA!), and KDA was their "sister" sorority.

Funny thing is, all the other fraternities and sororities mentioned were real ones!

Great movie - funny look back at late 1950's greek life, with a tragic twist and ending.

Still a bonus for whoever figures out the book mentioned throughout the movie.

Alpha Omega is also a local sorority at Wilfred Laurier University. It was founded in 1993 (which was the same year the 90210 girls rushed.)
