One of the amazing things about this thread is the number of songs that have been traded from GLO to GLO! I know that we did our own versions of "Boom Boom" and "Hmm, I want to linger" and I'm sure several other ones.

 | Our SigEp chapter sings this (only College Man, obviously) and it drives me up the wall. I thought it was really cute at first, but started driving me crazy...come to think of it, most SigEp songs drive me crazy.

			honeychile....
it was from the Beta Tau chapter of ADPi at the University of Akron. I don't know if they still sing it considering I went through pref in the fall of 1999. But i'm sure they still have it somewhere. |

   | Thank you!!! I'm just glad that I didn't have to sing it in public, because I just can't get through the song without crying! I tried to sing it at church one Sunday and was so embarrassed that I had to struggle so - thankfully, our music pastor was skilled enough to cover me!

The one that I still remember those most from recruitment is Tri Delt's.
Ahhhhh Delta!
Delta!
Delta Delta Delta!
Delta Three
Delta Tri
Delta Delta Til We Die!

They'd stand in the door and make Delta signs with their hands while squatting down and singing this. (This is a horrible explanation, it was absolutely adorable what they did, I just can't think of how else to say it.)

It's so catchy, when we did mock recruitment with them last year our whole house was chanting this back at our house b/c it really sticks in your head! That's my fav one though.
My fav Phi Mu song is definately La Di Da and Linger....Linger is the kind of song that I find myself just randomly singing, b/c it's easy to get stuck in your head hehe.

 | I wish I could hear how this goes, it looks pretty simple and catchy, and I would love to use this!

I finally remembered the other catchy chant we had!

La-di-da go Sigma Sigma K
La-di-da go Sigma Sigma K
La-di-da go Sigma Sigma K
la-di-da
la-di-da
la-di-da, la-di-da, la-di-da, hey hey!

and there was a little hip shake at the "hey hey" party, very cute!

 half singing Gam-ma Phi Be-ta, Gam-ma Phi
 And the other half singing:
 We are the girls
 Who really are amazing
 With our crescent and pearls
 We are true hearted girls
 (can't remember the last line..ugh)
 | Oh, Oh, we are the girsl who really are amazing...
With our smiles and our pep, we'll drive you plum crazy....
With our crescent and pearls, we are true hearted girls...
and after we're gone, you'll remember our song.

And yep, no one forgets it. We did it in 1992 when I was there and they're still doing it. When I was there, during practice our advisors would start on teh other side of campus (where the rushees would be) and walk towards the house and the goal was to be able to hear us the whole walk.

 And faithful 'till we die!
