All of the articles they wrote about it that MENTIONED Disney World (which was probably all of them) had to be proofread by someone on Disney's staff. A few of them said they didn't ever want to go back there because of the hassle, but I think the attendees all enjoyed themselves! I just think Disney can be kinda psycho about stuff sometimes.

Oh I totally know about that one, we had "illegal" band shirts in HS when we went to Disney- our band director strictly informed us NOT to take them to Disney, they were only for wearing in Penn Hills!

As an AST myself, I have to agree with PsychTau. Our national convention was just held in St. Louis, MO. I didn't go though, but I did have some sisters and an advisor that went. They stayed at the Hyatt Regency. From what I heard from them, they thought that it was great!!
Also, AST has biennial conventions.

Hey SigKapQueen,
I was at convention too. Is it true that one of your girls fell out of her chair when it was announced that ya'll won the Panhel award? One of the alums that I sat with at the awards ceremony was telling me about it when your two stars were announced. I had no problem believing it because I saw a girl in orange at the table practically fall off her seat when the Standards of Excellence was announced!
