Walmart blows goats like no one's business. I absolutely f*&^ing hate that place!!!! I boycotted Walmart starting late last year and drove an extra 20 min to go to Target, just in spite. Everytime I bought flour or cornmeal at WM weevils would hatch out in that shit and I'd go to make cookies and there'd be little bugs crawling around. GAG!!!!!! My dad, I think has the answer as to why WM blows and Target is so much better. Wally World was started by some hick up in Arkansas living out his "American dream". Target was started by businessmen (in Minnesota, if memory serves me correctly). They know how to freaking market anything. I can go in there to buy one thing and I find so much more stuff that I just "have" to have. Walmart has no concept of marketing or customer service. Maybe if I put sponge rollers in my hair and didn't bathe I'd get some service in that ill-begotten, God-forsaken place.

Walmart sucks royally, yes but there are 3 good things about it.
1.) The DVD's and CD's are cheap as hell
2.) When i buy windshield wipers there, they put them on my car for me (i have no clue)
3.) The Walton Family donated 300 million dollars to my University.

The chaos of it and totally disorganized staff blaring over the intercom every 5 seconds for price checks...is totally beyond me.

It's Wal-mart for the UPPERCLASS but I can dig it because it has great deals and is nowhere near as chaotic as Wal-mart.

for all of you that hate wal-mart now. wait until you get to visit one near an army or military post. most of the customers end up being soldiers' families. like most of the time when i go in, there will be a guy and girl with three kids (plus one on the way), all three are screaming and trying to eat the little candies out of the brach's bins, their carts (plural here) are filled with every freaking snack food and drink wal-mart sells and they refuse to dicipline their kids. ehhhhhhhhhhh. i hate those people. them and the little old people who count out their money bill by bill and coin by coin. ahhhhhhhhhh.

Actually, I stayed there for close to a year. I chose to go to the district manager instead, and that manager was gone before I knew it. Wonder what could have happened?

I suppose it didn't help his case that I had a death in my family a day after the wedding and he threw a fit...

What do we think about Sam's Club?

Thank God for Sam's Club!!!!

If Mr. C. and I didn't have one down the road here to buy in bulk from, our budget would suffer badly! With 15 in the crew, we need those giant boxes of Cheerios, paper supplies, ramen, you name it! You can't beat the book prices either!
