Me and my friends sometimes have "pink panties" parties it was our signature drink in college. You need a blender, ice, vodka, can of pink lemonade concentrate, whip cream and sugar. Don't worry if you don't like vodka its so sweet, it won't taste bad.

1. Put the ice in the blender
2. Add vodka (DISCLAIMER as much as you can handle)
3. Add can of pink lemonade
4. Add a carton of whip cream
5. Add 1/2 cup of sugar
6. Blend

This is a trial and error drink you practice till you get the thickness, and sweetness you like. It needs to blend well or the sugar will make it gritty. I like mine smooth and sweet. This is a "girlie" drink and I have never had a complaint.

Now if you wanna be a big girl like me I deal in brown liquor. Crown royal taste great with coke of course, but crown over lots of ice and a hint of cranberry juice its good too. My fav is crown and coke though.

First, I must say that you are not ghetto to ask folks to b.y.o.a. Particularly since it's your birthday. If they don't like it, as my granddad says, piss on 'em!

But about the drinks, I would suggest you don't skimp on the drinks if you don't absolutely have to. The only thing worse than a hangover is a hangover after a night of cheap alcohol! All my ladies who ever drank some Boone's can feel me! How many of you remember "Strawberry Hill" freshman year of college... 10.00 for you and all your girls to drink... Just raggedy.

If I were you, I would get a bottle of Bombay Sapphire, make some martinis and live it up on your day!

My favorite martini? Sapphire gin and ruby red grapefruit juice in a sugar-rimmed martini glass! Deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee-licious! And it just so happens to be pink...

I am NOT an alcoholic, rather a connoseiur (sp?) of fine spirits, lol.

My drinks of choice are:

Long Island Iced Teas: equal parts gin, triple sec, vodka, rum, and soda/sour (I prefer soda but it just depends on your tastes)

Kamikazes: Gin, Vodka OR Triple Sec (again, depending on taste, lol), and sour + lime

Or, what I really prefer to do since drinking a lot of mixed drinks makes me have to pee... SHOTS!

My shot of choice:

Burning Atlanta: Equal parts Jagermeister and 151 (not for the lightweights, but it tastes good!)

Also there is a rum called Passoa. It tastes DELICIOUS enough to drink straight. Beware, you will get so caught up in the "hey, this isn't so strong!" mindset and next thing you know be asking yourself hmm, why am I looking at my reflection in the toilet? Not that this has ever happened to me, I'm just sayin'. lol

also, pappadeux's seafood restraunt has a drink called a "swamp thing" that is straight off the chain. they also have a frozen cosmopolitan that is really good

Thanks for all the good ideas ladies!
The party was a success & the biggest hits were the jello shots. The alcohol was coconut vodka so you KNOW they were deeeelicious! Then I had a mix of orange & pineapple juice w/ EVERYTHING. Very good. There was good old fashioned alcoholic fruit and shots of everything!

A tip from my old drinkin' days.......

Instead of a whole can of pink lemondade, cut it in half with a box of jello (lemon or strawberry lemonade). It will get rid of the "gritty" problem.
