And here's another mention for Britney.
Also, have any of you heard about this 4 year old kid who's being billed as the world's youngest rapper? He was at my school, but I was at work so I didn't get to see. Could be another bad day for music.

hahahahahahahaha They are one of Mr 33's favorites - I like them too, and they put on a great concert.
I would say the biggest embarassment to music was when Bruce Willis sang. Eeeeeek. Don Johnson too.

Aaron Carter without a doubt.
Then everyone who was on American Idol. One, maybe two did not suck. None will have anything approaching a real 'career'. Not if there is a God.

I just saw this. I remember when Scott Stapp said something to that effect a few years ago. People were constantly comparing Creed to Pearl Jam. While Pearl Jam took the high road and didn't make any comments about the comparison, Scott Stapp said that he felt Creed was better than PJ. NEVER! Ever since, I've had a strong dislike for Creed. If you're going to purposely try to make your music sound like PJ and your voice sound like Eddie Vedder, you can at least acknowledge that your inspiration comes from Pearl Jam...don't insult them!

lol! It was a fun song. In the 1980s all these tv and movie stars released records: Eddie Murphy, Bruce Willis, Don Johnson, and Patrick Swayze. The 80s were a very strange and fun time!

OMG this is the funniest post EVER.
I'm going to add Cypress Hill to this list. "Insane in the Membrane" makes me want to stab myself in the ear with a pencil.
BTW, did anyone see the SNL with Conan O'Brien when they did the skit about the Napster court case? Horatio Sanz (sp?) played Rico Suave and it was hysterical!

And Conan played Right Said Fred, of "I'm too sexy" fame.
