Just got done with my coffee date with Parks & Recreation! Me and the recruitment chair talked for 3 hours, both of us had no clue we had been there for that long. We had tons of things in common and it was awesome. I definitely asked questions which I think she liked. I had to leave because I have a test in 20 minutes but when we got up to leave, she said "You should be hearing from us very shortly" and I told her I hope so! She said "don't worry, we definitely will be getting a hold of you!" She even gave me a hug before I left! I think it went better than I could have imagined. Hopefully my next update I'll finally be able to tell you guys who Parks & Recreation is and that I got a bid from them!

No update yet! I forgot to mention in my last update, I probably won't hear from Parks & Recreation until, at the earliest, Friday. I asked the recruitment chair if there were any more COB events for their chapter, she told me they were having another one on Thursday for another round of girls then they would begin membership selection. I'm thinking I'll get a call on Monday because, if anyone knows about Manhattan (KS) events, it's Fake Patty's on Saturday! So, I'm not expecting anything over the weekend. I am still going to The Office on Thursday for their ice cream social, I RSVP'd and I met the girls last Thursday and enjoyed spending time with them so, definitely still want to go to that.
I'll update again on Thursday with some info about how my night at The Office went!
